The Championship will consist of 10 rounds.
1 Race per round of +- 60 minutes WITH pit stop for tires.
Race start times will be 8pm where possible or as soon as load shedding is over.
Qualifying will be 20 minutes for this event

SKIN PACK MUST BE INSTALLED TO RACE ONLINE

CARS: Teams will be allowed and a team Championship will also be in effect.
Team points: From 1st to 8th place you will receive 6 points.
From 9th place to 15th place you will receive 5 points (If you finish the race).
Teams MUST use the same livery, including the color of the car. Only the numbers on the cars will differ.
You may create your own livery as soon as you have teamed up. Please indicate here who your team mate is and the car numbers you want.
Single entries are welcome, but won't count for team championship.

You will notice on Liveracers that all your times from the last time we raced at Silverstone with the Reiza cars is still there.
This might help to check if you getting older and slower or not!
So far, I see we are a bit slower (Some of us anyway).

I have my last DGL game at 21:00, i try to generally arrange so we can have saturdays open, but opponents only have saturday open

Every now and then, a race comes along that makes you wonder if you need therapy. This was one of them....
Got off to a great start and passed a few drivers who spun out (Will be checking the replay BTW).
By my first pit stop, which was early as I chose soft tires (What an idiot). They lasted only 8 laps!!
I was in the top 10. Changed to soft again...can you believe it?
3rd stop went on to medium and actually went faster.
Gary bumped me by mistake...No serious damage and thanks for waiting. I replied a few laps later when catching him as he left the pits, only to realize afterwards, he was on cold tires and brakes and I was trying to do the super-hero thing. Sorry for the touch.
Finished 12th and overall a good race.
Well done to Denis (Chainsaw) Mitchell for your stunning drive once again and to all drivers who took part.

Could not get into rhythm.
Lost the rear in turn 1 & picked up damage & puncture. Then called it a night.

Sorry you having such lousy luck so far Gert..shake it off and come back stronger still a lot of rounds left buddy! Well done on 12 Kevin a good result all things considered!

Was certainly not my strongest track so had to put in many laps to try get a feel and setup to suit my feel. In the end, my setup was pretty decent for my needs helping me to drive how i usually struggle to here. So managed a fairly decent lap to get pole. From pole i managed a decent start and was able to pull away from the guys slowly and just drive within myself. It was not without incident though. Just into the final stage of the race after fitting new tires i started to get too comfy and started pushing and lost the rear out of turn 3 and managed to save it...other than that all went well but that could of been very different.

Something i did notice though was that track limits were being abused a lot...out of Cops some guys ran wide almost all the time and gained time doing so as well as other corners. Guys that abuse the track limits need to get time penalties i feel as its not fair on the guys that drive within the rules and track limits.

Well done to all the guys though, some excellent drives throughout the field, Ryan a excellent 2nd, Derick a excellent 5th i think, Shawn a excellent 8th considering he just got his new wheel hours before and has not got it dialed in yet, Gary a excellent 10th, Marius Van Wyk on a last minute entry and getting a 7th and most notably Chad a excellent 9th...well done teamie very good for the team points!! Sorry that Dirk lost out on 3rd in the final stages as he caught a lagging Kevin, almost caught me out too when i caught you there...not sure why you were lagging so bad at the end Kevin.

2 guys i expected to have strong results were Alastair and Ken. Ken had issues with others cars, not sure what happened to Alastair. Good pace from both of you!

Not sure about the lag Denis. The internet has been doing strange things of late. Normally, I never have a problem.
Looked at the replays and always seems to be the same car involved. Will get Christo to check as well.
I don't know why the drivers don't understand what take it easy means on the first lap! Trying to go around a corner 3 abreast.....never works guys!

I saw more guys lagging, Didnt know if it was my connection but I have never had a problem. But its got better after few laps. That was weird. I saw guys lagging in front of me, I was so confused what to do at the start . Cause a huge collision thanks to that in turn 3 I think. Im sorry about that. It was just so huge, I feel really shame. But the car has no damage and felt normal like nothing happened. I let pass I hope everyone after that collision. Im Really Sorry About It

That final battle with dirk was so awesome. I have 14 seconds gap, fresh soft tires, I was pulling dirk every lap by 1,5 second, had 8 laps to go. Maybe kevin slowes him down, and Dirk!s spun out helped me. 2 laps to go, it was matter of time when I got him on the straight

Me I not have problem with other cars or driver because I not quick here. I try to get out of way. sometime ok other time not so ok but not get any accident  I try again other track next

Well done all! Congrats Denis, your pace is just on another level completely man, different class, very well done! Not sure much can stop you now... Nice podiums Ryan and Patrick, and Dirk very nicely done in 4th!
I really screwed my race up   . Had such a promising quali in 3rd, but in the last-minute panic before the race I somehow managed to put TC on which I always had off, so my start was terrible bogging down under it. Also had a lot of disappearing cars at the start which didn't help, pretty scary when cars right in front of your bumper just disappear. Struggled a lot with TC on, only realized about 10 or more laps in, turned it back off, but by then I'd already adjusted my driving to having TC on and it just threw me completely, spun off once or twice, dropped down a lot before calling it a night to get some much needed dinner lol. Also noticed a few guys going wide off track repeatedly... The cars felt epic at this track though, grip felt perfect, keen for the next! Oh and many thanks to Kev for this event, was great fun.

Im have a question, which internet power shadowracing servers ? I mean a speed of that internet. Because its really weird that we had a lagging problem, and pop up/dissapear problem. Cant server handle so many cars ? I have no knowledge about this topic, som Im corious.

I can provide servers which run on 100mbit internet. I will give password to Kevin to control it. So if you want just ask me, we could try it if will work better. Servers are in UK, perfect low ping. Dont wanna do an advertisment or smth. Just a friend help.

I just thanks to that cause really, I mean really huge collision, it was so big impact. and with 40% dmg, I did not recieved any damage to car. Its weird.... so there could be connection issue as well. I cant do anything about it, when the cars lagging. So confused. Then it was ok. That start was totall mess from my view. Im sorry about that. was sooo careful but I couldnt do anything Sorry for repeating over over again, Its eating my mind ..
