Was gunning to get on Christo's backside 10minutes in, had in in my sights and with pushing hard came a slide and a massive shunt with a barrier, so that made my tire change pit stop into an 18second one.

Love SPAAAAAAA it's just such a nice track to drive

The plan for this coming Sunday 19 Oct is to use Silverstone, however, there seems to be issues with the track, so we will test it online by tomorrow and I will let you know as soon as possible.

I have tested the Silverstone DRS v1.2 and found it to be usable. There are a few faint lines across the track, but nothing to stop us from using it.
Looks like it will be the one we use this Sunday. Will confirm this evening.

I have 2 versions of Silverstone:
Ver 1.2 and Ver 1.21
Version 1.21 has a national and south layout added but other than that I cannot see any difference.
The file names are:
SilverstoneGP_GSCEx_V1.2_DRS.rar (232 343 Kb)
Silverstone_GSCEx_V1.21.rar (223 084Kb)

In both I still pick up the lines across the track causing terrible track textures especially noticeable past both the old and new pits. There are even texture flickering by the front wheels around the first bend after the old pits.
I am again downloading the latest by Patrick from RD to ensure I got the correct copy. These lines are exactly the same we experienced with one of the tracks we raced the DTM's (cannot remember the name) a few weeks ago. Christie then found us a version that was super quality.

Gert, you can only see it if you drive. Have you installed the track and drive it yet? When standing still you do see small lines across the track, but they come 'alive' when you drive.

Christo I am running the game on my laptop as well as at home. I allways install it on my laptop first to make sure that I don't have issue with anything.  It's the textures of the track that maybe gives it that look. I am not sure how bad it looks for you, but yes the track is not the best looking one from a track texture perspective, It takes a bit of getting use to. I did drive it a littile bit a few weeks ago. My only issues is the change in track texture & colours, as well as the glare that comes of the tracks surface on certain parts. But as I have stated it takes a bit of getting use to. I would still like to see the line you guys see. Maybe I see it, but don't really pay attention to it.

We will be using Interlagos this week as the Silverstone track still has some issues which will be fixed in the next few days.
It is a default track and has DRS.

Charl, Hennie and others, would you mind to also run a few laps on Silverstone and see if you get the same bad road textures I experience as described in my previous post? I cannot make a screen print as you experience the bad textures while driving, not when standing still. Maybe I am too harsh criticizing the track as I got used to good quality tracks in GSCE.

We using v1.21 Just run the GSC sync in the game folder if you don't have it.
