FReiza Season 2 Main Thread

WELCOME TO SEASON 2

We will be starting Season 2 on 16th November.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO HENNIE FOR THESE AWESOME SKINS

Above is a preview of the new skins we will use.

SKINS:
I have repacked them because, when the guys were unzipping them, the files changed names for some reason.
TO INSTALL: Unzip into a folder on your desktop.
1.Go to your game root folder(Where you installed the game)
2. Go to gamedata/Vehicles/F_Reiza.
3. Copy the TEAMS FOLDERS somewhere as a backup then DELETE THEM. (ONLY THE TEAM FOLDERS)
4. Now copy the folders in the skins mod you unzipped and paste them into the F_Reiza folder in the game. (Delete the others first. DO NOT OVERWRITE)
5. That's it, the skins are in.

We did some races on Assetto a long time back or was it GTR2...think Assetto lol. You still in my friends list but i dont see you on steam anymore!

WOW what a cracking start to season 2.
Everyone is faster. Some new Guys that have joined. Nice big field. I can see Big fight for the championship.

Race 1:
Q2 P1
Had a bit of a slow start & dropped a place to 3rd at turn 1. But managed to get up to P1 after the first lap with some slipstreaming. I then had a few spins in the race that cost me some time. Denis was away & I was in 2nd place. I then just drove a steady pace to keep second. After the pit stops I found myself in first. Only to find out afterword's that Denis had a penalty for speeding in pits. Managed to keep it on the road to the end for the win.

Race 2:
Q1 P1
Had a good start & kept the lead to turn 1. Razor 7 Denis were hot on my heals in the first few laps. I went wide early on & that allowed Razor to Past me. He then made a mistake that gave P1 back to me. I kept P1 till end for the double.

What a great start to Shadow Racing!

Im still not totally comfy in GSCE..need to get my screens working in the right angles and all that but steering seems amazing in the F Reiza car...really loving driving the car and was able to show some pace in the races and qualifying, but rookie pit speeding cost me a possible race win in race 1 and running wide on cold tires, then later 2 spins in race 2 cost me another chance but managed a 3rd and 3nd in my first proper event in GSCE so im pretty happy with a result like this against some stiff competition like Gert and Eugene who drove excellently last night. Well done to all the guys last night!

Im getting names mixed up already...new faces and all but i think it was Migs i had that great wheel to wheel dice through the esses with...that was amazing fun thanks so much for the great dice and giving space to allow side by side driving!
