Thrustmaster T500
Anyone running a T500 , not having much joy in getting a good FFB setting
Use the standard rim for tin tops
Using the F1` add on for Open Wheelers , have had to drop the FFB to 60% or else I get major shudders in top gear at max top speed
Currently running 330 degrees , - T500 profiler - 70/100/90/20/14
In game - 330 degrees , Effects - low , FFB - 60%

Re: Thrustmaster T500
Chad, myself and Timo use the Thrustmaster TX wheels and we run the FFB ingame value at a positive value. It seems like a lot of the guys that use Logitech wheels need to set the FFB at a negative value.
I set my FFB % per car and per track and when I change my steering lock I also change the FFB until I am happy with the FFB feeling that I get. For the Reiza cars I was using about 71% FFB ingame for a steering lock of 19-21 degrees and I used a 220 degree steering rotation in the profiler. For the SGT500 cars my FFB was about 44% for steering lock of 21 degrees and I used 360 degrees for steering wheel rotation.
In the Thrustmaster profiler myself and Timo have the following settings:
Overall strength is set as 75%.
Constant 100%
Periodic 100%
Spring 0%
Damper 0%
I have my FFB effects on FULL in the ingame FFB settings.
You are more than welcome to ask questions if I have forgot to list some settings here.
PS. My biggest mistake was to run the FFB ingame at a negative value initially - the whole game changed for me once Timo told me I should set it to a positive value

Re: Thrustmaster T500
Thanks Gus , have done a clean install = I'll test over the weekend .Although I can't currently run higher than 60% or else I get a bad " speed wobble " in top gear - ie: Reiza down Spa Straight - shakes so badly the car starts dropping gears. Will try dropping the steering wheel rotation degrees
