Re: THE FINAL 9th MAY SPIELBERG
Looking forward to this for 2 reasons...end of these cars at a track that they ran well at and gave good close times first time around, but also means next meeting we will be in our all new Formula 3 cars.
Good luck guys, lets end the Nippons with a bang of a close race!

Re: THE FINAL 9th MAY SPIELBERG
What a final race it was for all attending the late start. Was epic racing in both races. I was so slow off the line in race 1 loosing my 2nd place to Gustav and Dirk in the run to the first corner that I had to change my 1st gear ratios for a better pull away in race 2. This worked better but I again lost my place to Gustav.
Well done to Denis for winning the championship and for Gustav in second place. Again, another 3rd place for myself.
Although the Nippons was awesome to race, I think we all are looking forward to race the new Formula 3.
Please sign up asap if you haven't done so yet.
Again, well done to all that entered the series, it was awesome racing with you guys.

Re: THE FINAL 9th MAY SPIELBERG
Thanks Christo and Gert! Was a great season of racing, ups and downs and i managed to come out on top!
Last night was great fun for me, again Spielburg provided some great racing in both races for me. Managed to get pole for both heats but had 2 very different races.
Race 1, after a good start there was some chatter, then some guys left and while reading 1 of the popups i ran wide on the final corner and hit the wall damaging the car to the point it was not turning left very well. Then mid way round a lap trying to see if i could handle it i ran off not able to turn around a long left hander, so decided for a early pit stop with repair and from there push hard. I came out right about 2 seconds behind Christo in 3rd after all pit stops were done and caught and passed Christo i think still trying to warm tires up...then head down to catch Gustav last lap for the win.
Race 2...got away cleanly and pulled a slight gap to Gustav and then Christo passed for 2nd and was staying station till the pit stops. I pitted a lap earlier and after the stops Christo was ahead...good pit crew there lol! So i fought to catch and then started a awesome battle for position swapping places several times, inside and out side by side...it was great fun and ultimately i came out on top but what a great dice Christo i enjoyed that!
Well done to Gustav on 2nd in the championship and Christo on 3rd. Great driving this season guys!
Nippons done and dusted looking forward to much closer racing in the Formula 3 series! Lets hope the fields are big and lots of close racing is had throughout the field.
Gert will you be joining us, miss racing you man?

Re: THE FINAL 9th MAY SPIELBERG
Firstly, I must thank each and every driver who took the time and drove countless laps to make this a really awesome Series.
You guys were great, the cars were great and the tracks were great. Some really tough battles along the way through the whole field made for some exciting racing.
I would like to thank the slower, bottom half of the grid. It's not easy knowing you don't have the pace to win and still coming to each race and giving all you can. A special kudo's to you.
Congratulations to Denis for a commanding win for the title, very well deserved. Great driving as always my friend.
Gus and Christo........Great job guys. You both hung in and gave us all some heart stopping moments. I'm sure you will both be up to the challenge for the F3 Series.
As for myself, I could have done a lot better. Internet problems etc. have a way of holding you back, but then again, we all face the same hurdles.
Thank you all once again and see you at the F3 start-line.

Thanks to Shadowracing hosting the championship!
Congrats to Denis for taking the championship. Pity we could not make it more interesting for you - you were in a class of your own...
And thanks also to all the guys that pitched up race after race.
It was my first full championship with Shadowracing and I am very satisfied with the result. It was good to be able to take part in every race and to commit to the championship. Whether it means you come last or first does not matter as long as you enjoy it.
Looking forward to Formula 3's.
