Removing chat not to show up while uoi are driving.

Not sure if this has been posted anywhere. Just delete if it has been please.

In your profile folder, you have Muliplayer.ini file.  Search for  "Allow Chat In Car="1" // whether to allow incoming chats to appear while in car"

Then change "Allow Chat In Car="1" to "Allow Chat In Car="0"

Then you wont reveive any chats while driving.  I do this as to not get distracted while driving.

Only problem is if I need to restart for any reason, you won't know why, otherwise good plan.

Is there any sort of scripting for this game? Would be nice to make a toggle key to turn this on/off.

Not aware of any toggle key to do that.

I will not remove the chat as how will you know about your pit messages, minutes left, last lap info etc...........
We are not allowed to chat under Qualifying and Racing conditions so why wanting to toggle it on or off?

Christo, this is to remove other players chat from appearing.

Nice one... it definitely is distracting while on a quali or hot lap and that text box appears right at the point where you have to be looking for your brake marker.

You won't see your values for brake bias anymore either when you change it dynamically either. So you might forget what you've set it at.

What Christo said - just adhere to the no chat rules during race and quali, and all is good.
