WELCOME

FORMAT:
RACE 1:
QUALIFY= 25 minutes unlimited laps.
RACE= 30 minutes with pit stop.
RACE 2:
QUALIFY= 10 minutes unlimited laps.
RACE= 30 minutes with pit stop.
TIRE CHOICE IS SOFT and MEDIUM FOR THIS TRACK
The usual league rules apply to online racing. Make sure you read them!
A Constructor's Championship will also be held. Just for fun. Drivers points will be combined.
POINTS:
1 point for pole position in both races.

& this weekend?
4 pole's I won 2 out of the 4 races & 2nd in the standings. that DNF cost me big time.

This weekend BAHRAIN. Next week SPA.
If you don't score points in one race it really puts you back. Anyway, you will bounce back quick I'm sure.

This DRS version of the track is MUCH better than the one we used for the GT race.

If my calculations are correct then Gert has 85 points and me 84 points after tonight. See - it was quick to pick up points!!!

What a good race we had last night. Eugene had some really good race pace.
Race 1:
Q 1 P 2
I had a bad start & lost a few places. That gave Eugene some daylight between us that I had to make up. It took me a few laps to catch up to him & pass him under DRS in the main straight. Before I could make my first stop I tagged someone in turn 2 that was slow in the corner. That gave me some damage that was fixed in my pit stop. My pit stop ended being 15 seconds that gave Eugene a nice big gap ahead of me. I pushed to try & catch up, but the gap was too big. WD E
Race 2:
Q 1 P 1
Had a much better start & went into turn 1 in the lead. I opened a small gap to Eugene who was not far behind me. We traded some fastest laps in the first stint. On my in lap to pit I spun on the last corner that cost me a few seconds. For some reason that damaged my car even though I did not touch anything. My stop ended being 7 seconds. By that time Eugene was ahead of me again. But this time the gap was only a few seconds. I then set of chasing him down. Took a few laps & caught & passed him in the main straight using DRS. He then stuck to the back of me. Close to the end he attempted a pass on my inside going into turn 1. Luckily I was watching him because he braked a bit late. I gave him the room but took back the place after the turn because of my positioning at the corner & had better drive out the corner. Was a good dice with E who made me work in the race.

some good racing on Sunday, was super stoked to take part, wasn't anywhere close to on pace with front runners, but as always it was SUPER to take part.
Still cant believed i jumped the start i was so eager to get going, but did my Stop n GO, and drove my tyres into the ground, caught up with two drivers, made some gap went to pits as i was starting to slide heavy, changed tyres and out i went.
I made sure when Gert, Eugene and the other speed merchants came past i moved well out the way.
At the end I was just glad to finish both races.
Well done to everyone
