2016 DTM Championship
Championship Main Thread :
Test Race at Road Atlanta
Race Time Schedule :
Qualifying 1 (10min) : 20:00-20:10
Warming up (5min) : 20:10-20:15
Sprint Race (20min) : 20:15-20:35
Qualifying 2 (10min) : 20:45-20:55
Warming up (5min) : 20:55-21:00
Main Race (45min) : 21:00-21:45 ( Mandatory Pit Stop! all 4 tires have to be changed! )

info for Incidents on track!
- If there has been an incident on track during the race please tell one of the admins throughPM with a lap and/or timestamp from the replay and then the admins will see if a penalty has to be applied. Do not use the Season or Event Topic for this!!
- After all races the start and first lap of the race will be watched carefully by the admins!! If an incident is reported or not doesn't matter if we feel there is need for a penalty we will apply it!

We will restart the race,.. as this is a testrace we will skip qualy and run with random grid

Sadly i crashed while chased Ryan. Could have been a nice race, but it was still enjoyable!

With a tight track and a lot of cars on the grid there will be a big fight for position during the first few corners. This was evident during last night's test race.
The first Sprint race was not too bad and except for a few scratches all found a way around. The second longer Main race was a different story. The race could only get underway after the 3rd restart and only because we decided not to restart again. REMEMBER guys, this race is a full 45 minutes long, with a pit stop, so there will be ample time to finish in a good spot through consistent lap times, pit stop strategies and so on. These cars have a lot of grip but NOT during the first few corners with cold tyres.
PENALTIES FOR THIS RACE:
RACE 2: Dirk going into the back of Rob and not waiting for Rob to get in front again - An exclusion of participation of next race's Qualifying (Round 1 - Nurburgring) for Race 1.
RACE 2: Ryan for going into the back of Ronny on the main back straight and not waiting for him to get in front again - An exclusion of participation of next race's Qualifying (Round 1 - Nurburgring) for Race 1 and Race 2.
Above penalties removed.
