Rear wing .MAS file as well
http://www.mediafire.com/download/8pdoei8hkdidi24/F_Reiza_maps.zip
Guys please unzip and replace it into the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\GameData\Vehicles\F_Reiza folder
If you don't then your rear wings won't have the complete Shadow Racing Logo on and we want to have it right for video purposes.
Hope everyone will join for the Formula Reizas. Real trophies and this is the ultimate series.
Good luck to everyone - may the best team and driver win.

Re: REIZA ROUND 1 - - - 20th JUNE 2016
Really enjoyed the racing last night. im not a fan of Barcelona, but it went better than expected. Race 1 I finished p5. race 2 i jumped the start, and had to serve a DRIVE-THRu (i mistake it for a stop. I put on new set of tyres) the next lap i served my drive-thru. I was then 30 sec behind Ken. I decided to push thru (lap5/22) with the new set of tyres. at sum point I was p7/12, but at the end of the stint, I had 11% of L front left. finished p10. all in all it was ok. sum points on the board. well done to the winners!
Re: REIZA ROUND 1 - - - 20th JUNE 2016
All in all, a good start to the season...
One or two incidents that will be looked at and we will report back.
It cannot be said enough times.....The start and the first lap decide if the race will be a smooth one. Once again, please practice your start, if you spin the car around on the start line, you kill the race for a few drivers. Also, be extra careful on the first lap. Tires are cold as well as brakes. If you bump someone, WAIT for them to rejoin in FRONT of you.
Had a fairly good night, although got 15 second repair in race 1 pit stop even though I didn't touch anyone which cost me 2 places. Finished 7th.
Second race was better and managed 6th. Happy with that for now.
Thank you all who took part.

Re: REIZA ROUND 1 - - - 20th JUNE 2016
I must admit that at first I didn't enjoy the F.Reizas all that much after racing the GP2's for a season. It's not the speed - you can never have enough power, after all - but it's more the crazy amount of grip that they have. It just didn't feel like much of a challenge to keep them on the black stuff. But then came the practice sessions and it was very tight at the top of the timing list, and it became an obsessions to eke out every last 100th of a second in order to beat the other guys. And that's where these cars started to come alive for me! Of course it didn't hurt at all that our first event was on one of my favourite tracks either...
Race 1: Because of how close it was between the top 5 or 6 during practice I consider myself very fortunate to have stuck it on pole for this race, with Ryan making it a Maverick Racing one-two. I was worried about the start since these cars don't have launch control and it's rather dangerous to start without traction control, so I opted for the safe but slow option of starting with TC, which does bog down quite a bit. I managed to get a decent enough start however, and held on to 1st for a few laps before entering into a very enjoyable battle with Ryan for another few laps, where we would swop positions a few times due to DRS. By lap 8 my medium tyres had lost most of their shine however, and I started to slowly fade back into the clutches of a hard-charging Marius. I pitted on lap 11, and emerged right behind Marius, who pitted a lap earlier and made good use of the undercut. I then closely followed him for 2 very exciting laps, until I tried a DRS pass on him on the straight ...with disasterous consequences! I followed closely behind, and then made a very abrupt swerve in order to swing out behind him for the pass, and suddenly I just lost all rear grip and the car swung around at 330km/h, hitting the wall a few times. Of course, this meant the car was very damaged and I had to limp around to the pits once more. Oh well, I have only myself to blame. Lesson learned: do not swerve violently at 330km/h! After a 15s damage repair I emerged from the pits in 4th, and stayed there until the end.
Race 2: I didn't have it all my own way in qualifying this time and only managed 3rd. Gert however had a disasterous start which allowed me to gain 2nd, and again a few very exciting laps exchanging the lead with Ryan ensued. Once again my tyres seemed to go off just that 1 lap quicker than his though, and I pitted on lap 10 this time to try and minimise the damage. After everyone had done their stops I retained 2nd, and from there I just made sure I maintained a steady pace within 6-7s of Ryan until the end. He then had an undisclosed issue on the last corner, which allowed me to pass for the win.
Thanks once again to all for a very enjoyable event; I can't wait for the next one. This should be a great season!

SPOTTER
Download Crew Chief V4 here: http://crewchief.isnais.de/CrewChiefV4.msi
It requires rFactorSharedMemoryMap.dll plugin, available here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9udlx2unwmgzf1v/rFactorSharedMemoryMap.dll?dl=0
After the Crew Chief V4 application is installed, start it up and after a moment it will show two green download buttons. Click on each one to get the latest sound pack and driver names. Once the downloads are complete, the application will need to be restarted. Future sound pack updates are checked for automatically on start up and you will also be notified of application updates automatically as well.
Once Crew Chief V4 is setup, it's time to put the rFactorSharedMemoryMap.dll in the Automobilista Plugins folder (usually something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista\Plugins). Please remove the old rFactor 2.17 spotter if you have it installed (delete the spotter plugin dll, fmod dll, spotter addon folder, and the sound packs in GameData\Sounds\Pit\).
Now you're ready to use Crew Chief V4 with Automobilista! Launch Crew Chief V4, select " Automobilista' from the game list on the right, then click the start button on the left. Launch Automobilista and enjoy!
.DLL FILE HERE:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/9udlx2unwmgzf1v/rFactorSharedMemoryMap.dll?dl=0
Paste it in your PLUGINS FOLDER of the game. Loose as it is.

Re: REIZA ROUND 1 - - - 20th JUNE 2016
As usual I manage to find a lot of speed during free practice - but somehow when it comes to the qualifying that counts I am about a second and a half off the pace. I had a reasonable start in race one - even though it was from fourth. I felt sorry to see Jan jump the start, but figured it would give me a change to get one better place. I made a stupid mistake when I tried to pass Dirk on the sector two exit - and we brushed each other a tiny bit, but I let him go and decided to pit a lap early to try and get the undercut. I knew I had a bit more pace during the first stint, but somehow the second stint was a lot closer. Dirk made a mistake as he tried to come out of my slip stream with open DRS. And I also managed to catch up to Ryan, closing the gap to about 3 seconds with 6 laps remaining. But there was a lot of talking on the team speak channel and it made me lose concentration. (Yes a real driver also doesn't have to deal with other team chatter in his ears, so sorry but I hope Kevin will create a separate channel for the teams to join during the race)
Anyway - all and all the first race went well.
Race 2 was a different story. I don't even care to understand why I was so slow, but I also managed to spin on a fresh set of rubber. And Ryan was Lightning McQueen because he disappeared over the horizon. At some stage I was last - but I fought my way through the traffic as fast as I could and made use of the early pit undercut again. But in the end - the best guys won. I also figured out that Practice is during a different time of the day than Qualifying... which is something I need to take into account in the future. It sucks that the next track is my least favorite of all - but the season is still long and I am simply going to do damage control next week.

Well as my performance was absolutely p... poor, i don't have as much to say as my more illustrious friends do, in case i embarrass myself some more, except to say that i can enjoy this series regardless of the results.
Great racing to the top eight guys!!!

From what I've seen... using 0 assists helps a lot. I literately came down 2 a second within the first 3 laps. You just have to get used to it. Spamers will agree - we turned it off seeing Gert doesn't use them and seem to set the pace.... so low and behold... and the weird thing is... one would expect to need more down force but I found the opposite. I can run with 10 10 wings and the car sticks to the ground.
Every person is entitled to his own opinion... but in mine... not using assists makes the game 100x more exiting and enjoyable. You feel exactly what the car is doing... and working on your setup is also easier... because you can immediately see what changes... where as you use tc and you change on the setup... you don't really see the difference.
