GP2 Round One MONTREAL 2nd May

WELCOME TO THE GP2 SERIES.

Round 1: Montreal -Canada (Default track)

Mod: GP2 v1.4....Make sure this is the version you use.

Time: 8pm GMT+2

Format:

15 minute qualify for both races
2x13 lap races.

Points: You highest finish on the night will be counted for your points

The usual Shadowracing rules apply.

These cars have LAUNCH control. The default key is the forward slash - / - key.
Get on the grid, keep the car in neutral (N) press and keep the / key pressed.
As soon as you hit the gas pedal, the car will engage 1st gear. Then as soon as the lights go out, release the / key and off you go with a perfect start.

This can also be used to get out of a sand trap if you went farming. Put the car in Neutral, press the / key, rev it leave the / key and you will get out of the sand or grass without spinning around.

You can practice these during a practice session to get used to it, no need to wait for race mode.

After the new update, my game won't f&%* start!!!!
Reiza are looking into it as there are a number of people having the same problem.
The game starts if you delete your player file, but as soon as you create a new profile, it hangs. This really sucks!

Has this problem been solved yet Kevin?? Or rather are we still good for the race?

My game is still F$#@d, but the race goes ahead. Christo will handle things.
Reiza are still trying to sort out the problem.

lol,.. just started up the game and it seems im joining you Kevin,.. game wont start for me either

If you delete the player folder in Userdata the game starts, but you can't create a new profile and it crashes.

Due to the problems with the last update, the race will go ahead on Monday 2 May.

I am going to join in if ok now that my Summer Time means races are at 8pm for me . ....if that is fine?
