I have tested the SC and all seems to work just fine.

I got a PM today asking about oval setup tips, and I decided to leave a copy of my reply for anyone interested.

Yes there are, because it's an oval your setup should only care about turning left.

The cambers on the right tyres should be negative, a little lower value than you'd run in a road course, but on the left they should be positive. The left front usually has a lot of camber and the left rear usually has as much camber as the right rear. 6(LF), -2.5(RF), 2.0(LR) and -2.0(RR) are good starting values.

Caster increase to taste and to how much the car under/oversteers and how much the tyres are wearing.

Toe should be minimal on the front tyres in longer oval, slightly higher on shorter ones and should be 0 on the rear tyres.

Generaly the left suspension is softer than the right one by a couple of clicks. The same goes for tyre pressures.

Aero should be as low as possible that you still can get away with.

Gearing should be set so that you spend most of your time in 5th, and mostly use 6th at the end of a long straight topping out at top speed in the draft and almost never going to 4th.

After that is adjust to taste.

Yes Timo, we had a nice dice. There was nothing between our times and it was a good dice. We kept each other busy on the track

João, thanks for the setup tips you posted above. I did not had the time to play around with it, but I changed it once before the race as per your recommendation and it immediately made a huge difference for me and I know Timo experienced the same.

It is really nice of you to share these tips. Much appreciated.

Anytime guys, oval setups are very peculiar and nothing alike road setups, so any help I can give you is a huge step in the right direction.

Did not notice the race was 1 hour earlier after daylight saving time and ended up missing it.

I am a very stupid man.
