Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
Tried the track last night and it is a terrible track.
Way too bumpy , my wheel bounces down the straights and corners and the view is bouncing .
Won't be doing this one.

I have tried the track and it seems fine. All the drivers that have driven there in the past few days also say it's not too bumpy.
Maybe your FFB is a bit too strong? You can also adjust head movement in the PLR file.

I agree with Shawn. This track is very bumpy. Hard to complete a lap. Will see if I race this one on Monday.

the track is bumpy on corner entry but make for excellent feedback. If you settings FFB is correct, it make for rewarding lap. I like this track very much... how you say? RAW and real. Great job again admin for choose this track

I dont see why I need to adjust my FFB settings to accommodate tracks that are not good.
On AC and other sims I really enjoy this track so was actually looking forward to it.
I bet this track is not really this bumpy as it would be deemed dangerous to race.
Its your choice, enjoy.

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
A word about the start:
WE WILL BE USING A ROLLING START.
During the formation lap, you don't have to drive too close to the car in front of you. Give a little space and BE CAREFUL.
Should you go off-track for some reason, rejoin at the BACK of the field.
The leaders must slow at the end of the lap and allow the field to catch up. When you enter the main straight, a green flag will appear in the bottom left of your screen...then you floor it!
The main thing is to take it easy during this lap, you are not racing.

Tonight went better than expected. Quali P8 with 200.4xx.just before Quali is over, Ken pumped in a 200.8xx. I then knew trouble was coming...
Rolling start green flag, i went bit wide,
Ken came roarin past in his Pranking Horse! And so the classic 'Ferrari vs Porsche' duel starts!
Ken putting his Ferrari in the right spots, making it impossible to pass.
I was sure he is eating cookies and enjoying ear grey tea while chatting away to
Lida, while I am sweating in the Porsche behing him, trying to find a way past. Eventually Ken made a small mistake, an i edged past! I thought ' Bye Ken , see you later...
ooo but Mr Hunter was not finished with me! Oh no sir! You cant keep a fast man down!End of next lap, Ken was back in front!
So i decided to do a pitstop- lap 13. Ken made a mistake on the pit entry and i found a bit of a breather.
Ken my friend, great driving! Sorry you ran outtafuel.
PS: i guess the 'VW' Porsche is economical, after all

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
It was again awesome racing with the GT cars. There were battles from P-1 to P-plenty. Â And everyone liked the rolling start procedure.
Dereck, Ryan and Gustav were way faster than me so the best place for my poor Audi would be a forth place. To earn it though I had to 'get rid' of Fraser and Dirk. For th first couple of laps I was in the mix with those around me. Â I tried to keep up with Gustav but hey, he was just too fast pulling away slowly but surely. Â This left me to battle with Faser until he made a mistake through T4 and then later blew his motor. Â Pity Fraser as we had close battles in the last couple of races. Although not close dicing the remainder of the race I had to keep Dirk behind me. One slip, one mistake, one slow pit stop and he would have been on me. Â The gap was around 4 seconds most of the time.
Somewhere else on the forum a member wrote that he is at the tail-end of the field here but elsewhere where he race he is towards the front and mid field. Â I think this is testimony to the quality of drivers we currently have.
Dereck, Ryan, Reinhard and a few other are at close battle up front. Gustav is having awesome races, Fraser has improved so much breathing in the neck of a lot of guys, Dirk is determined as ever to do battle. Then there are battles amongst Ken, Kevin, Marius, Francois, Timo and Shawn and even further down the field.
No wonder the championship battle is SO DAMN close, Ryan and Dereck both with 110 points, Gustav and me separated by 4 points only, Dirk-Mike-Fraser-Marius-Shawn all close together, Haribo-Ken-Kevin-Francois-Tim-Alastair-Rob separated by just a few points. Â In fact only 2 points difference between Kevin, Ken, Francois and Tim - WOW. Nobody can afford to miss a race or make the slightest mistake in the last 4 rounds.
Let the battle continues.....Adios

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
Great evening once again.
The rolling start worked out well with all the drivers behaving like professionals.
I would be much more "With it" if I liked the car I chose. Really picked a car that doesn't suit my style of driving at the start of the season and I can't afford to lose the points now by changing car. Pity.
Stayed close to Francois and co for quite a few laps, but was off the pace and only started to do decent 2.00.3 laps during the second half of the race on worn tires. The car just feels too big and heavy.
Really good driving from all the front runners, who were super fast as usual. Also, nice competition in the mid-field. Everyone just seems to go faster by the week!
I would be very confident to put our drivers up against any league out there. You guys do me proud.
Thank you to all of you and good luck taking it down to the wire.
To Christo a special message......I don't always thank you enough for all the help and work you do for Shadowracing. Without you, the league would not be as strong as it is. Thank you my friend.

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
This round was one of the most enjoyable races for me in a while. Â
Like Kevin, I also seem to have chosen the wrong car, being about 1 second off the pace compared to my own test times in e.g. the Audi. Â But I have made a conscious choice not to change cars as I'm still enjoying the midfield battle. Â Kevin, I also tried the GTR at the beginning and all I can say is I feel your pain! Â It's even worse than my Ginetta :-)
The rolling start turned out to be a good choice on Nurburgring with its very tight turn 1, and everybody (around me, at least) got through safely. Â Well done guys. Â Early on the racing was nice and close between myself, Fraser, Haribo and Shawn until Fraser experienced a bit of a framerate freeze and lost control. Â Pity, that.
As Christo said the gap between us hovered around 4s and I was able to pull that back to around 2s at one point but I had to drive at 105% of my ability in order to do that, and then the inevitable half-spin happened and I lost around 4s on the 3rd last lap. Â I managed to haul some of that back on the last 2 laps but by then the damage was done. Â And besides, Christo was probably just comfortably managing the gap :-) Â Also, in the words of Murray Walker: catching is one thing, passing is another.
All in all I'm quite satisfied with my result given my equipment. Â Well done and thanks, all. Â And a special word of thanks to the guys at the back who in my opinion were particularly fair when being lapped.
Oh and PS: Ken, better luck with the fuel next time! Â It must have been horrible running out so close to the end.

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
I can say it was most fun but tuff race. Lapped cars are very fair and competition is strong. I make small error in lap 2 which give Ryan position but then we fight for few laps overtake each other before I make it stick. He keep me attention on my race very much. He drive very well yesterday. After race I see I have setup for Jerez and not Nurburgring... WOW, now I not feel so bad not to drive better.
Thank you all drivers, you make this event a pleasure.
P.S. I like rolling start also. Make for interesting race.

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
congrats dereck for your 1st win in this series,
you was already very close for victory in last 2-3 races,
sadly the title fight you must do now with ryan and you, as i did read there will be still 4 races in this series,
after i did miss yesterday already, i only would have little chance if i would miss only 1 another race in last 4 races, but 3 races on monday not possible for me i think.
i do like this cars much and not happy that i can not make monday races, but 1 races i will do somehow in this series.
perhaps next season we take this cars again, as i think for GT racing no better carmod. is actual in GSC.
i did watch the race in the "server live view" thing a little, it was very interesting how much information this give you during quali and race, was much good entertaining, i did watch a little quali and beginning of race too, and middle of race a little where the pitstops times was.

Correct Reinhard, on the live timing info. Valuable info you can gather.
Yes also i agree with you 100%, i also would like to drive these cars again. ( i think quite a few drivers chose wrong cars, let them show us what they can do)!

These cars will be used in future Marius/Reinhard. There are big updates coming for them as well making them even better to drive.

Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 6 28th SEPT
Wow! What a night of ups and downs, then more ups then the final down.....
As Marius so brilliantly reported, we had a ding dong race from lap1 until our pit stops on lap 15.
We exchanged positions in ways that would be envious to any driver out there, and offered one another the mutual respect we all deserve.
Marius, Rob, Francois made this one of the most enjoyable races i have had in a long time and if it was'nt for my damn stupidity, i could have finished in a better position than i did, by misjudging my fuel load, and ofcourse bungling my pit stop badly. (Old age)
Marius, you have now pulled away from me in the points standing, but my friend, you better watch out....I'm coming to get you.....

perhaps next season we take this cars again, as i think for GT racing no better carmod. is actual in GSC.
i did watch the race in the "server live view" thing a little, it was very interesting how much information this give you during quali and race, was much good entertaining, i did watch a little quali and beginning of race too, and middle of race a little where the pitstops times was.

Hallo Reinhard
Ja... it is time to get a good result. I been trying but the luck was not on my side before. It is pity you can't complete series because it will make for good battle to end of series. I am sure this mod will be in future available for race again so no worry... everybody like this mod and Christo say the update will make this better too.
P.S. I notice your pitstop time is much shorter that others... always 3-4s quicker than me and is here I loose position to you in Jerez. I try all kind of strategy but stop time always show 22s in little box but when I am in pitbox it take extra about 5-6s. You not get this problem?
P.P.S. Please everybody make note that since update 1.38 I can't use rearview mirror because my FPS drop to around 40's. I try all advice I read here in forum but it make no difference for my game. Maybe because I run on laptop and not enough memory or GPU not cope so I make apology for this. This problem happen also in other mod, not only GT3. I do use "look back" when I am close to other driver but sometime is difficult because of position at corner or something. Maybe somebody have solution for me.
Thank you

ALSO put it in the vehicles folder
