FORMAT:
Qualify will be 20 minutes.
Race length will be +- 50 minutes WITH PIT STOP, 4 TYRES MUST BE CHANGED.
Racing will start at 8PM if load shedding permits.

HAVE FUN

A word about the first lap.....
The main thing here is to TAKE IT EASY on the first lap. The tires and brakes are cold and the car is heavy with fuel.
SHOULD YOU UNDERSTEER ON ANY CORNER AND LEAVE THE TRACK LIMITS, WAIT UNTIL THE TRACK IS CLEAR BEFORE REJOINING.
There are cars right behind you and it's not their fault if you went into the corner too fast. Don't make them pay for your mistakes.
Also, understand that we don't all brake at the same place, so don't get too close when approaching a corner.
We have a good reputation for clean, fair driving. Let's not spoil that guys.

Stewards Inquiry Re: 2015 GT3 CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 4 16th SEPT

Lap one:
Michael is too aggressive running into driver R.Timpen and has lost control due to excess speed. Penalty will be given to Michael for Driving without due care and attention.

Michael has re-joined the racing line without waiting for a resemble gap and impeded Kevin causing a collision. Penalty will be given to Michael for re-joining the track in an unsafe manner.

In the following corner Michael is hit from behind by E.Czakoi who does not stop and wait for Michael to re-join this is also unsporting and a warning is given to E.Czakoi. Always wait for any opponent to re-join if it is your fault they have crashed.

V Kurdyshov moves from his inside line crossing into and nudging M Van Wyk who in turn slows and in turn is hit by K Hunter. V Kurdyshov warning is given for changing your driving line and causing an accident.

Lap Five
Michael has hit the back of V Kurdyshov twice and on second occasion has pushed V Kurdyshov off into a spin and once again has not stopped and waited for the other driver to re-join track. Penalty will be given to Michael for unsporting behaviour and causing an accident.

Lap Six
V Kurdyshov is on the driving line overtaking Michael, Michael is hit in rear right and crashes. Michael has caused the crash by driving across V Kurdyshov who has not stopped to wait for Michael. No Penalty, our rational racing incident.

Lap Fourteen
There has been a dispute on the forum regarding D Kroch and S Johnson and as a result we have viewed the footage, in our opinion this is a racing incident. No blame can be attached to S Johnson he was driving without swerving on the racing line, when the incident occurred S Johnson was off to the left many meters away from D Kroch who made a small mistake which on any other corner could have been corrected without any further issues, it is unfortunate this particular corner has very high bumps and D Kroch found himself grounded and unable to finish. No further action to be taken.

Decision
Michael will lose 4 out of his 5 licence points, leaving one point from being banned for a race.

E.Czakoi has been given a warning, if any further incidents in the next race will incur at least one point against licence.

V Kurdyshov has been given a warning, if any further incidents in the next race will incur at least one point against licence.

Hey Paul, agree fully to your report and support the proposed penalties.

Update 3 was that of the MOD itself.

Tough track with the (subtle) track elevations. Easy to lock up and the gravel trap really sucks you in and makes you lose lots of time.

I'm unable to make tonight's race.. Apologies.
Have a good one guys!

Decent recovery race for me but I really need to stop making silly mistakes on the first laps (spinning out and whatnot). Causes me lots of time but on the bright side, I get to go wheel-to-wheel with some of the guys. Also, I really like the new formation lap and rolling start! Hope we keep it for races to come.
