Round 3 DTM 2 SEPT St Petersburg

TRACK IS IN THE OFFICIAL DOWNLOADS THREAD

We will be driving the 2014 DTM Mod at St Petersburg
Racing will start at 8:00pm SA

30 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race 1:........20 minute sprint

Superpole qualify for feature race. One out lap and one hot lap
Race2:........40 minute Feature race with pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.

The race will have a standing start

The usual league rules apply.
Keep it clean and have fun guys. Don't forget to welcome any new drivers.

Please post the car number you will be using on this thread.

Hey man, 8 laps later and still hitting a wall somewhere along the track. This is going to be difficult to stay away from the walls and with DTM cars very 'brittle' I can see a lot of retirements !!!

At least you have done some laps. I am rocking up with none at all. Reize taking all my practice time.

i'M LOOKING FORWARD TO TONIGHTS RACE ON ST PETERSBURG ALTHOUGH THIS IS A DIFFICULT TRACK WHERE CONCENTRATION LEVELS MUST BE HIGH.
I WILL PROBABLY NOT FINISH, BUT WILL HAVE FUN.

Didnt have time to practise for this race so exuse me if im to slow tonight

Not sure where to sign up but I'll take the Merc #3.

With only 11 laps of practice I could not have expected any b etter then last night. Trackwas very slippery.

Race 1:
Q: 4 P: 3
Cause I did very little practice, I decided to quali with race fuel load as to practice more then worry about where I was going to start. Had a bit of a slow start. Bit of juggling in the first corner. Just tried to keep on the track & of the side walls. Settled into the race to make sure I got to the end. Tyres were going of at the end & Davy was starting to catch me. Luckely I just managed to stay ahead of him at the end.

Race 2:
Q: 3 P: 2

Again start was not that good, but maybe it because I use auto clutch & the other guys use manual clutch. A bit of bumping cars in the first corner bacause of some late braking by some guys. Got into P: 2 & stayed there. Pace was a bit better than in the 1st race. I managed to end the race closer to Razor then what I expected. Touched the walls twice,
& decided to fix the damage as it will most likely be earo that is damaged & will only help making the car stable. Pit stop was 16 seconds. After that is whas just trying to keep Razor in check in front, but he had good pace. Davy was behind me by a bigger margin then the first race.

WD to all the guys competing in the race.  Christo &
Razor were very fast so I was lucky to get 2nd in race 2.

This title should be ROUND 4, not 3.
