The Championship will consist of 10 rounds.
1 Race per round of +- 60 minutes WITH pit stop for tires.
Race start times will be 8pm where possible or as soon as load shedding is over.
Qualifying will be 20 minutes for this event

SKIN PACK MUST BE INSTALLED TO RACE ONLINE

CARS: Teams will be allowed and a team Championship will also be in effect.
Team points: From 1st to 8th place you will receive 6 points.
From 9th place to 15th place you will receive 5 points (If you finish the race).
Teams MUST use the same livery, including the color of the car. Only the numbers on the cars will differ.
You may create your own livery as soon as you have teamed up. Please indicate here who your team mate is and the car numbers you want.
Single entries are welcome, but won't count for team championship.

This is a nice big field. I have some work to do after the first leg.

This is a nice track. Only downside is......No lights for night driving, so we will do a daytime race. Easier to see.

Guys....use ONLY this version of the track. The TDF has been changed.

track is nice, pitty about the lights, always adds a little extra to the race

but no matter, still a nice track and in my top 5 likeable tracks

Looking for a big improvement from myself this weekend, I haven't been behind the wheel in ages, and it showed on the track in Australia

Going to be a tough race meeting, not my strongest track but certainly a nice track! Grip feels good and the car slides feel much better than Australia, now if only i could get some more speed!!!

Looking forward to this meeting...DRS brings a new challenge for us too.

if the race starts 8pm I cant race if 10pm I will be there I will train for this meeting so I hope, I pray for load shedding xD

You practice up until we qualify.
There is no official practice. The times you do are recorded on Live Racers. You can practice on the server anytime.

BTW guys
If you watch TV view when a car leaves the pits, you will notice LOTS of sand on the road. The whole track really. I have adjusted the grip levels of this to match the rest of the changes to make the track as realistic as possible. Just thought I'd let you know.

Another thing...
There are 2 tire compounds for this track.
Someone did mention that when you pit, you can choose between all 4.
Mine only allows Soft and Medium.
Could you check and let me know please.

last night when i did a few laps, i only ran softs, and didnt even think to check tyre choice

I just checked. It only allows Soft & mediums

After looking at LiveRacers, it seems we will have a FULL field tonight. Good stuff!!
Please keep in mind, if you bump someone off, WAIT for them to go ahead of you.

We will have 2 new drivers tonight

So I missed the post about the tyre selection for quali.

Happy with 2nd place. Denis was to fast for me tonight.

WD Denis. At the strat as we went into turn 1 my FFB disabled. OMW what timing for that crap. Spun a few times that cost me loads of time.

WD to the guys that finished the race tonight. WD Ali on your 3rd place.

Thanks Gert...was not easy to race on mediums here. Off the line they are super slow my word i thought you would have me. No FFb man that must suck sorry to hear that.

The supersofts are about 0.5 faster than the softs, my first quali run of 1:29.1 was on the softs.

Thankfully all went ok and after a lap they got going and i nursed them to make a 2 stop work. Well done to all the guys for finishing...some guys had a few incidents but lucky for me all went well.

See you guys at the next one! Looking forward to Silverstone laser scanned version, thats a real nice track possibly the best looking and feeling track in GSC...if only i went well there so im sure Gert you going to be on it there!

Sorry for dissapearing guys. My wheel decided to loose FFB and also went all cross eyed and skew. Was having to hold it at 90 degree angle to keep car straight. No damage on car though. So will do a re-install of drivers and try again.
