If guys have high pings that cause issues, they should not be allowed to drive. If there is a issue of guys or a question of lag, you should get all parties included replays and see from their view what happened. If they dont see lag then no offence. Lag does not excuse guys driving all over the place and beyond the track limits lap after lap.

If international drivers get lag on our servers then it ruins it for our local races. Its not fair on local guys to say its just lag. Last meeting the number of guys effected at the start shows that. We dont want them being chased away because of lag.

Just my 5 cents.

Kevin, with all due respects, lag had absolutely nothing to do with the piss poor and inconsiderate driving by some on Saturday night.
I, for one was so compromised by this, that as of now the amount of time i spend and the amount of laps i do in practice to be comfortable and fluent with the tracks, will cease. I too will be able to blame some other criteria for bad driving and or just maybe withdraw from your league completely.
Please i do not want to sound like a whiner, but what's right is right and when guys blatantly go about driving like idiots with the total disrespect and disregard for the others sharing the track, and finish in positions they did not deserve to be in, and all you guys can come up with "it's due to a lag factor" then i say shame on the administrators....

After spending some hours watching each driver in the replay, I counted 15 drivers were off track limits at some point!
Pointless to accuse each other now.
We are not track builders and rely on cut markers or someone on track to bring a driver to my attention on Teamspeak. I was alone on TS at the time.
As for Piss poor driving, maybe you should watch the replay again. Even just the first lap!
Pointing fingers is a waste of time if you don't lodge a complaint after the race. You will say, it doesn't help complaining because nothing gets done. What do we do? Punish all 15 drivers from Saturday for going off track?
Making contact with other cars and then saying "Sorry" is also not good enough.
Lag cannot be helped. Ryan has lagged a few times, how come everybody didn't demand he not race?
Double standards.
Miguel drove with us for nearly 2 years with no problem, all of a sudden, a lot of drivers complained about him. To the point where he felt a victim and things got out of control.
Next was Eugene. Also, drove for 2 years. Our first member by the way. We all made contact with other cars and said sorry, that was ok. When he did it, the whole gang was up in arms until he was also let go.
Now, there is a new kid on the block and it seems to be his turn.
There will be no fighting about this.
I am aware of whats going on....this is South Africa after all.

Everyone can make mistake and run off track, i ran off track twice i think, that certainly not the same as someone doing it lap after lap, dont know how that can be anyones sane comparison.

Comparing issues from Eugene and Miguel is not the same and you know it. Eugene was banned because he drove like a wreckless stock car driver, Miguel banned because he swore at you and told you off.

Lag is something we all have now and then, but if our internet struggles on a local scale, its 100 times worse with a international guy that maybe does not have the best connection. Peter for example we never have issues with his lag so perhaps its the region they from or their isp. To just say guys are picking on someone when they cause a incident is piss poor i think. You complain guys dont lodge complaints and if they do this is the response given, no wonder they dont bother.

What you saying is that both Migs and Eugene are no longer here because of others actions not their own actions and that now we as your drivers are doing it again...really???

At least I had the decency to say sorry for driving into you Kevin, and I still waited for you. It was not all my fault because you where lagging.
Not once during the race when I was hit by other drivers did someone say anything.

I know you did. I don't have a problem with that. It's always good to apologize, I do it every time.

Here is something that might help:

[A great tweak that helps to avoid laggy drivers is open multiplayer ini file with wordpad
Edit Max Data Per Client="9999" to 128
Max Data Per Client="128" after that join a server you have high ping on and see the difference no more laggy cars Very Happy
This edit also helps when host servers to not drain the upload speed]

Its intended for the guys that have high ping, but it works on both server and client.

hallo everybody. I not know what is going on but I hear some thing that international connection is not ok. I not sure if any do refer to my race. I not pick up lag or problems like I read in top and my connection is in Midrand so please tell if I make trouble for somebody in race? I not make any contact in race whole race.

My word Kevin, when i meant piss poor driving, i was referring to being bumped all over the place by overzealous driving and not the racing lines we all over clocked at some stage in the race.
I for one never bashed into anyone due to inconsiderate racing, barring the one time Shawn spun in front of me and i did not have time to take proper evasive action.
As to the gentleman you so abtly mentioned who have withdrawn or suspended or banned, they brought that on themselves and if they can assure the rest of us that their racing manners can improve, i would race with them anytime. But please don't blame the rest of us for their shoddy, disrespectful and downright inconsiderate attitude on track.                                            Ban me then for not finding your reply and comments acceptable because i will not agree with you on this matter.

It is a default track in the game.

I get now 2 race in row where connection gone. You think it can be problem of change you make? My side I look all possibility but not find any problem it can be issue. Please look for me if there can be problem.

In race, my strategy was good. I was in 2nd place mit 39 second front of Gustav and 17 second back of Denis when I loose connection. So maybe I have chance for good result but now I not no

I also had a disconnect.
Nothing has been changed on the server. Same as always.
The internet has been doing strange things in South Africa for a week now and our server is run from this country.
I don't think there is anything wrong. Just bad internet here lately.

Will we be banging Singapore with lights at night or are we going to have the race during the daytime ?

Tight track will be hard work, but it's one of those tracks for me that feels rewarding if you get across the line at the end

Practice is during the day and race at night.
The lights are very good, so no problem.
