Was looking forward to racing but the racing gods had other plans for me last night.....Everything was A ok until we went to race....Then got the nasty disco........Not a soul in sight on the grid but myself...was looking forward to the fun with 21 cars on the grid....

Yes Dean, i saw that and what a pity to be disco'd just before the race. You would have enjoyed it, i know that, but hang in there, there's plenty more to come....

Being the first race in a new series, and being a much longer race as what we have become accustomed to, it was to be expected to have some mishaps and mistakes made here and there. I myself had a few of these until i found the rhythm one needs to be consistently stable.
Had some ding dong laps with some drivers, but more special with Gary who refuses to give up when he's ahead, and more of a pain when he's behind. Thank you Gary, was really exciting stuff.

Just as a post race observation, i would once again appeal to you faster guys, please consider everyone on track and not to assume you and only you have the right of way to race. Pushing and barging your way thru is not the way to go.

Well done Denis, after all the trials and tribulations you had to endure, finishing top was a great achievement. To  the podium finishers however, Great Stuff!!

Well said, Ken. I fully agree. The fast guys have a responsibility to pass safely. They can't expect the slower guys to park at the side of the road to let them past.

Also, guys with bad connections (mobile broadband in particular) need to compensate for lag, and not follow on people's asses. If your latency spikes to triple digits too often, maybe consider not racing online until you can get a more stable connection?

Where is Sheep racing in result tab ? not enought points ?

I really hope it does not continue like this. Deadlines/rules/penalties are all there to keep things fair and fun.

Both these teams joined after the first race!!
It's no big deal to add two small files to the game.
The other drivers would do it for you too.

Which is after the deadline for skin submissions. There is a fine selection of default skins for them to choose from.

It's still unnecessary, because it defeats the purpose of having one big skinpack. How many more small files are still to come? I hope this does not get out of hand.

Deadine was for the first race meeting. Im ok with new ones and dont see any issues with adding new ones per meeting.

Damn, all nice tracks, A1 ring and Canada defaults would be nice, but we need Suzuka forgot about that how did i do that lol...Id rather loose the Singapore or Spa or Abu Dhabi than miss A1 or Canada...damn lol.

Interlagos can swop for A1?

Im keen on a swap of Interlagos for A1, never raced the Reiza around A1 GP so that will be a challenge but its a nice track!

Hey Fran, welcome! Nice to see a fellow GPVWC driver, im in the FC but not getting on well with those cars at all lol. I believe you race against Dewald Nel too.

We received a number of complaints this week about the driving on Saturday.
After looking at my replay (Which was also filled with lag) and talking to Christo, we are going to put Saturday down to lag. I know this might seem unfair, but we can't prove it was all down to bad driving.
From now on....DRIVERS WILL GET ONE WARNING and SECOND OFFENSE WILL BE PUNISHED WITH EIGHT ( POINTS TAKEN OFF THEIR POINTS FOR THE SERIES. Third offense will be two race ban.
