CARS:

The cars we will be using are default cars in the game, however, skins will be allowed and all drivers have enough time to get their skins ready, see detail below.
When signing up, please indicate your team name and your car number. You may NOT use a number that is in the game already.
NO LATE SKIN ENTRIES. Those who want to use a default skin with their name on the window must also indicate it before 21 MAY.

FORMAT:


2x30 minute races WITH pit stop. 4 TIRES MUST BE CHANGED.
Qualify will be 15 minutes for BOTH races

Racing will start at 8pm (GMT+2) or later if there is load shedding.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES. Every man for himself.

Those wishing not the skin their cars must select one of the above numbers. Your name will be added to the window plate if submitted BEFORE 21 MAY 2015.
We will double the amount of default cars with an EXTRA DOWNLOAD which EVERYONE must download and added to the game. These cars looks a little different with the same number but a "S" added behind the number.

THE USUAL SHADOWRACINGRSA RULES APPLY AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Just a quick note. I received a notification at 17:45 that LS stage 1 will start. We were scheduled for 18:00, got everything sorted and 18:00, nothing happened

Power is still on, maybe the other guys can comment?

Mine said 18:00 and went off exact. Says back on at 22:30 hope it's sooner. I still got to leave for afri ski tomorrow at 4am but I'll be racing tonight for sure

Wow what a meeting. Super close again...quali i somehow manage 2 poles...had to rub my eyes there lol.

Races well race 1 was a struggle...struggle to avoid going off which i lost that battle twice lol. So with the tight lap times only managed a 7th after repairing the car.

Race 2 was much better, better off the line, and the car changes i made made a huge difference getting into the 1:27's on the 2nd flying lap already. What a stunning battle with Ryan when we were side by side for about half a lap, that was awesome Ryan, till Ryan got the inside line and the lead. Then we fought a few laps till i pipped him just as i was about to pit. Then Christo having pitted early had got the lead, so had to catch which was super hard..then another good dice for 1st all while Ryan was closing as we fought it out. Great racing there Christo and Ryan...one of my most enjoyable wins, now i just need to do something about my first races lol.

Took me 8 races to get there, but who's counting.
Some good driving from the guys last night and great to see a fairly large field considering we started late.

I did not plan to race at this event due to the load shedding so I decided to log on early to have some fun and practise with the guys.

When Kevin called 10mins, I thought that I'll log off when the qualifying starts...

Two and a half hours later, I'm staring at the screen with a smile on my face, replaying both races in my mind

Race 1 - I was surprised and very happy with my qualifying time. Had a very nice dice with Gustav, which unfortunately ended in tears for me when I clipped a curb on high speed while trying to overtake and lost control of the car No team orders, that's for sure    

Race 2 - Dropped another 2 tenths and happy with my quali once again. Razor passed me with the pit strategy and I caught up to him again. He then overtook me when I tapped the pit limiter by mistake (NOOB!) but luckily I was able to pass him again to finish a proud 4th.

Thanks to Denis for all the technical assistance regarding setups etc. - I would be nowhere without that and of course, Shadow racing for turning me into a sim racing addict

Well done to the podium guys, I had the privilege to drive behind Ryan, Denis and Christo for a while and racing was EPIC!

Learned a lot again from this meeting and looking forward to the next!

Always a pleasure to help to get to grips with it Timo...and to make the racing more enjoyable and competitive for all. Really glad you getting to grips with it...going to have to fight you off for wins soon it seems! Well done on a excellent result last night...keep them coming and enjoy your addiction.

I had lots of fun last night!!! These cars just ensures close racing...

Race1 I had a bump in the first corner and was relegated from 3rd to 14th I think. I fought back and I ended in 3rd spot. I had a nice dice with Timo which was really enjoyable.

Race 2 I was in 5th until pit stop. I did not see my pitbox when I entered the pits and had to drive through the whole pitlane without any luck:( I then pitted again the next lap and then I luckily saw my pitbox:)
I ended in 6th I think which I am quite happy with considering the extra pit stop:)

Cant wait for the next one...

Lol Gus, i saw your first pit attempt i was wondering what happened there. I pitted right behind you and saw you go straight through the pits.
