CARS:

The cars we will be using are default cars in the game, however, skins will be allowed and all drivers have enough time to get their skins ready, see detail below.
When signing up, please indicate your team name and your car number. You may NOT use a number that is in the game already.
NO LATE SKIN ENTRIES. Those who want to use a default skin with their name on the window must also indicate it before 21 MAY.

FORMAT:

We will use the same format as the current GT Series.

2x30 minute races WITH pit stop. 4 TIRES MUST BE CHANGED.
Qualify will be 15 minutes for BOTH races

Racing will start at 8pm (GMT+2) or later if there is load shedding.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES. Every man for himself.

Those wishing not the skin their cars must select one of the above numbers. Your name will be added to the window plate if submitted BEFORE 21 MAY 2015.
We will double the amount of default cars with an EXTRA DOWNLOAD which EVERYONE must download and added to the game. These cars looks a little different with the same number but a "S" added behind the number.

THE USUAL SHADOWRACINGRSA RULES APPLY AND WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

I get this error message and my game crashes with this track it works ok with others:  error loading mesh file SRPL_SKY3_DOME1.GMT to memory
I have downloaded it twice & reinstalled after deleting
Any ideas?

I sorted it
I deleted all my loose files in the GSC folder then did GSC sync & updated 1 file.
It got corrupted by me installing Montreal circuit which is fab with these cars

This week sees another epic battle on a track that is demanding and not as easy as it looks. Practice here would be a really good idea.
Just a word...
Some drivers might think I or us pick on them all the time. This is NOT the case. If you drive according to the rules that are there for all drivers, we have no problem with you. Keep breaking them and you only have yourself to blame.
I hope you all took note about weaving and bumping other cars off when driving the marcas. It's not easy getting past another car as they are very equal, so be patient and drive cleanly so we can all have a fair chance.

Will let you guys know about the load shedding and race start time as soon as possible.

Load shedding now at stage 2. So late racing again. Will start at 10 pm or soon thereafter, once all has joined.

What a epic meeting.

I did not like this car/track combo much and struggled once again to get the car working. Qualifying for race 1 i just never quit got right, think right foot problems really lol. Qualifying for race 2 went better, much better getting pole.

Race 1...i found i had decent race pace but the car was extremely loose in some crucial corners which would get me sideways loosing drive and time and ultimately a chance at the fight for a win. Well done to Ryan on a excellent win and great pace.

Race 2 went much better thanks to a late setup change which fixed the stability issues i had in race 1. What a difference this made, although i still found myself often being over cautious due to race 1's wild slides. But with the car working much better i could fight, and boy was a fight it was with Ryan all race long changing places back and forward with Christo right up our tail pipes watching it all happen. Well done to Ryan again...excellent race there. For those that want to see our fight, here it is...

Massive thanks to Shadow Racing for hosting this race and congrats to all the guys for driving excellently last night.

Another strange evening...
First race I was a bit slow and stayed in 12th for most of the race. Enough said.
Race 2 I really got the feel of the car and was going really well in 7th place up until just before my pit stop.
Guess what?.....Disconnected again for 15 seconds or so, just long enough to kick me out the server.
Really not happy about it, but that's online racing.
What do I need to do to score points in this series? Damn.

Kev you are having loads of DC's from the server. Is it not your net connection that has a problem?

Yes, I use wireless. Dish on my roof. Happens every now and then for a week or so. Sucks!
