My racing Rig
OK, this is mine at the moment all built by myself. I want to start building a new one from scratch as soon as I get the time to do it. The height of the pedals in relation to the seat will be changed, a dashboard will be built around the steering wheel containing the button box controls, a platform for the mouse in front of the gear shifter and all sockets mounted on the dash for microphone, USB spare ports, PC Power on/off, Speaker volume control, switch selector between speakers and wireless headphones, etc.
Until then I am enjoying the current one.
My Rig with 27" monitor
I stripped my G27 pedals and mounted it like it should be.
My keyboard and Gear shifter
My seat

Re: Show off your Racing Cockpit
Thanks Charl, I wish I had more time to build my 'ultimate' rig. Got all the ideas to improve on what I currently have. All my switches, apart from the in-game switches, must be reachable from where I sit. This includes the Power on/off, PC power on/off, extra USB ports, speakers on/off, Mic on/off...... you get my thinking.

My very SICK wheel and setup
Don't let the pictures fool you...
My Wheel is stuck on 180deg rotation and ffb has been knocked out of it's senses by me on several occasions. Once, I even twisted it past it's rotational limit out of sheer frustration. Hence why it's now stuck on 180deg... opened it up to check what exactly had broken and found a few extra pieces that wouldn't fit anymore including a little motor's gear shaft had split in 3 ........ hmmmm, wonder how that happened???
Anyway, that's my little setup until I can run with a G27

Re: Show off your Racing Cockpit
I built the PVC rig this weekend while waiting for my new wheel and pedals
Planning on moving out of the dining room
previous setup
Need to do some woodwork this week if I have time, then will complete this weekend with a 42inch LED lying around my gf's place not being used
