CARS:

The cars we will be using are default cars in the game, however, skins will be allowed and all drivers have enough time to get their skins ready, see detail below.
When signing up, please indicate your team name and your car number. You may NOT use a number that is in the game already.
NO LATE SKIN ENTRIES. Those who want to use a default skin with their name on the window must also indicate it before 21 MAY.

FORMAT:

We will use the same format as the current GT Series.

2x30 minute races WITH pit stop. 4 TIRES MUST BE CHANGED.
Qualify will be 15 minutes for BOTH races

Racing will start at 8pm (GMT+2) or later if there is load shedding.
THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES. Every man for himself.

We will double the amount of default cars with an EXTRA DOWNLOAD which EVERYONE must download and added to the game. These cars looks a little different with the same number but a "S" added behind the number.

I think these cars will suite everyone and the racing is going to insane!

Thanks to everyone who made an effort with the Hunters racing team skins, we will be using the hunters extreme skins (with bubbles\ water drops) - Thanks Denis!

Looking forward to seeing the full grid with all the cars. Hopefully the damage is not too sensitive with these cars, as I suspect some rubbing to take place

This track can only support 17 cars.
Please get there early so you don't miss your spot.
The racing will start at 10pm due to the enduro taking place at 7pm with Simtec.

If its not too late, please sign me up for any of the chevy cruzes that are available. I hope I will still be awake for race 2

I have managed to find out how to increase the amount of cars on the server. I have now set it at 30.....can go higher if need be.

Was my first time running laps last night. Took ages to get the old T500 working with the game. Thanks to Denis and Chad for their settings, it feels great.

Awesome stuff Bash, stoked you joining and really awesome the settings finally helped you get to grips with GSCE! These cars are sooo close its insane! Think we all need a panel beater and spray painter as a sponsor haha!

Hey Tim, go and sleep now, Gustav will wake you just before 10!!!
Seems most races will be late night races as Eskom will just get worse and worse.

Racing will start as close to 10pm as possible.

Races will be 28 laps.

Hey Bash.

Pretty simple really. Allocate a pit request button and a pit limiter button.
Request a pit stop as you start the lap you wish to stop, mean crew are faster to do changes.
Dont speed in pit or else you get penalties either stop and go or drive through's.
Practice the pits in practice this track is a bit different in the pits with the buildings you pass through.
Pit any time of your choosing as many times as you like but you have to have a minimum 1 stop which is all you need.
Pit strategy on fuel is your choice, either full tanks from start or add fuel in the stop.

What a season opener!!

Good, clean driving from all the drivers. There were a few bumps here and there, but touring cars are usually tight, close racing.
Well done guys and we in for a long, tough season ahead.

My races:

My pace was more or less the same in both races and I had some close racing with Ken and a few other drivers. Thank you for being fair guys.
No points this round for me and I think it's going to be difficult to score points this season for the bottom half of the grid.
Well done to the podiums in both races, you guys really had to work hard.

Awesome race. During whole race I had hands full of work. I Attacked and in the same time I had to defend my possition, What a race. Do you remeber that video which I post when I introduce myself ? That was IT !. I didnt expect that I will place so high in the pole. Im so pleased. I hope that next race will start at time becauce im worried if the race starts same time as today I will not be able to race with you. (I will be at home and I share a room with my younger sibling ) But if I can i will race !
Thanks to my opponents, I almost shitted into my pants, that pressure was so huge

Looks like guys had plenty of fun.

Pleased with my pace in practice, unfortunately that pace sort of disappeared in qualifying though. No points for me either, race one a couple of offs which were unforced, dropped me down. Race 2 was much better, having a great scrap with Peter, decided to pit earlyish as I was concerned about not getting a pit box, anyways, when Peter had his stop I just managed to zip past him on the straight. All for nothing really as I realized I had not put in enough fuel ...idiot...ha ha.

Congrats to the winners & to everyone for a good nights racing. I'm buggered this morning tbh..
