This will give you an RFM in the menu and group the cars together. The fix is only 650k

FORMAT:

We will run the same format as the other Championships.
2x30 minute races WITH pit stop. 4 TIRES MUST BE CHANGED.
Qualify will be 15 minutes for BOTH races

Racing will start at 8pm (GMT+2) or later if there is load shedding.

THERE WILL BE NO CLASSES. Every man for himself.

Never in the history of ShadowRacing was the practice times so close as for tonight. Just 1.2 seconds to 12th place and with over 1000 laps already done just in practice alone means the guys are serious. Only 9:00 in the morning and Ken Hunter was spotted practicing his Ferrari off on the track!!! Cannot hide from the eye in the sky Ken.

See you all tonight, be early, be prepared for clean close battles.......

Nice to see a lot of drivers in with a chance tonight.
As usual, we will only know about load shedding later today. I will post as soon as possible.
Please be prepared to start as close to 10pm as possible if there is load shedding.
A reminder that this track is short and the first few corners will be hectic. Please take it easy on cold tires and brakes.

Tonight is looking like its going to be a classic meeting. Its so nice to finally have the guys practicing so much on such a short track learning every inch...and the results show!!!

I think no matter who you are, tonight is going to be a close race for all!

Looks like our lights stay on tonight.....

The races at Silverstone were fun!!! I enjoyed every bit of it.

Race1:
I had a nice battle with Reinhard for most of the race and then he lost a bit of time in one corner which basically put me into 2nd spot. I got very close to Eugene on the last few laps, but not close enough to make a good pass.

Race2:
Had a nice dice with Ryan for many laps and I eventually passed him, but then Eugene was gone and I could not catch him.

It was close and exciting racing - this type of racing is really enjoyable...The overtaking is a bit tricky on the track - you still look for a place to overtake and then the lap is over...

What a awesome track for pretty much any car, real fun. Lap times were super close throughout the field so i think all had someone to race.

Qualifying never went to plan, but then i did expect to struggle so maybe it actually did haha. Manage to qualify 3rd for race 1 and 2nd for race 2.

Race 1 i had a perfect start, but with cars on top of each other at the starts, i had to brake to avoid a slow getting away Eugene and thus went into turn 1 in 7th and from there had a awesome battle with a few guys. In these battles, i rubbed bumpers with Dirk so lightly that you could not even feel it yet we both got long pit stops for damage repair...like 40seconds stops on a track that has sub 1 minute laps...really frustrating for me and i presume for Dirk too. Other than that the race was great fun. Race 2...well i was a little, or rather a lot more eager to get this on than the rest were and jumped the start like a noob. First jump start ever so not too much of a worry but meant a drive through penalty and then got up to speed trying to hunt the guys down once again having some fun dices but for the latter positions. All in all a great fun meeting mixing it with the guys, just a pity about the mistakes.

Well done to Eugene on a well deserved double win, excellent meeting bud, and well done the the rest, Gustav, Reinhard, and im not even sure who the other podium guys were lol...nice to not know for a change i guess!

Yes, agreed with Denis: the car damage penalty on these is quite harsh.

I felt only a slight tap from Denis, not at all enough to even upset the car or affect my race in any way shape or form.  In fact, it was so light the thought did not even cross my mind to check for damage before entering the pits ...only to be met with a 34s damage repair bill.

Pity, because the fact that I finished 29s off the lead in the end (and Denis 24s) means that we could really have been competitive.

If at all possible, can we maybe in future evaluate a series' damage tolerance before we start a championship and adjust the server settings accordingly?  I'm sure Gary won't mind crash testing for us, he enjoys that kind of thing ;-)

I just think that, yes, of course we want to discourage people just forcing their way through the field with impunity and therefore we need damage penalties, BUT if the penalties are too harsh it has a counterproductive effect of people too scared to risk passing and then we end up with F1-style processions.

...Just my 2c.
