We will be running an Endurance series of 6 rounds with the WES Mod every 3rd Saturday evening.

Length: 1 HOUR
Points: Points will be given for each class in all the races so choose your car carefully as it has to last you 6 rounds.

SCORING:
A POINT will be given for pole position in each class

Practice: Practice any time offline. Practice Online on ShadowRacing RSA server from Friday 10 APRIL 2015.
Qualifying: 19:00 for 20 minutes
Race Start: 19:20 sharp
Pit Stops: As many as needed BUT at least ONE pit stop for tyres and/or fuel
Rules: Normal ShadowRacingRSA Racing Rules apply.

WE WILL BE USING THE WES CARS FOR THIS RACE

Remember the racing starts at 19:00 to also accommodate Simtec Racing

Come on guys, these WES cars are awesome to drive, especially the GT class cars. There is a class for every person here, from Super fast LMP1 cars to Very fast LMP2 cars to Awesome GT cars.
So there is NO excuse at all not to attend.

after struggling my t1ts off last time around, im just keen to race, even if it's in GT class

Hi Guys, I please need some advise

I tried the Porsche LMP1 around the track offline for a few laps and found the braking in some sections of the track to be really, really bad. The whole car shudders. I played around with the smoothing levels in the realfeel file from 0-9 to see if it will help and I also made the springs to it's lowest setting to see if I can get a smoother ride but nothing helped.

My FFB is already as low as 45% in game. I can't really go much lower because then I am going to loose all feel for the car.

Anybody that got some other ideas that I could try?

PS. I tested it with both the Porsche and Audi LMP1 cars and both gave me the same experience.

Maybe Gert can comment as he did practice here in the LMP1 Audi Gustav. Will try it out later today.

You will find it is most likely caused by the track maybe being bumpy in some of the braking sections. Think turn 1 & 7 if I have it tight.

Is the enduro server up?
keen to check if all is ok now with my game

did a fresh 12GB odd download, installed MOD and track

Gus - will give the P1 cars a test tomorrow - seem to have stabilised the shudder on the P2 car
Gert - the game doesn't play well with the T500 or TX wheels - have had to drop my FFB right down or else I get major shudders mainly in top gear near max speed

I took the FFB down to 28% now and the car is now ok under braking in those sections of the track that Gert mentioned.

Glad you managed to find a sort of solution -
I presume you have dropped the FFB in the profile as well
Currently running 270 - 50% / 100/90/0/40 - although the P1 car is a bit undrivable with the t500 would basically have to turn off the FFB if I wanted to use the F1 rim

The track is very bumpy and it's not easy to drive on. We won't be using it again. I will try and find us a new one for the next time we drive there.

Kevin - is this Saturday's endurance race still on - is there a link to the track ?
