ALL DRIVERS MUST INSTALL THEM INTO THE GAME. YOU MUST HAVE A CLEAN MOD INSTALLED WHEN ADDING THE SKINS. DELETE ANY EXTRA SKIN FOLDERS YOU HAVE ALREADY INSTALLED.

RACING STARTS AT 8PM(SA) UNLESS THERE IS LOAD-SHEDDING

Format:

20 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race 1:........17 LAPS WITH pit stop

10 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race2:........17 LAPS With pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.

A FEW DRIVERS USED THE CHATBOX BEFORE THE RACE HAD FINISHED ON WEDNESDAY....ME INCLUDED. Please don't type in the chatbox untill ALL the drivers are finished racing.

Well done everyone, good clean dices in the race very good to see!

Last night was really enjoyful. I had some good clean dices which was very nice.

Race1 - I made some silly mistakes (again) without any pressure and my lap times were not great at all.

Race2 - I kind of figured out what I did wrong in Race1 and I managed a 3rd. My lap times were much better than in race1. I had a very good dice with Eugene for most of the race but I just could not pass him and he did not make mistakes.

All in all a fun night...

You did really well in race 2, expected you to be up there in race 1 then i watched you spin off! You got good pace in these cars though and you getting faster each round...too fast already haha!

both races did not go as planned. this is not a easy track to race!
R1 start was ok, i got away ok from the blocks, then made some mistake few laps later. retired.
R2 my L/C was enabled, but for sum reason the car sprang forward (for sure my fault!) and I got a drive thru penalty. dead last. did a few laps, and lost a wheel in the process. that was my raceday @ watkins glen!

Tough fast track to race on with very little place to overtake and easy to make mistakes.

Race 1
Went well from the second start ??
Moved up the field and was last to pit. Expected to rejoin in 6th place, guess what......SPEEDING IN PIT LANE!! How stupid! Got a stop and go of course which pushed me back to 11th.

Race 2
Did everything right, just no pace. Ended up 8th and at least scored a few points.

I struggled to get to grips (pun intended!) with this track at first during practice, but then all of a sudden something clicked during quali and I was able to secure a good starting position ...by my standards, at least.

Race 1 I was lucky to avoid some of the mishaps during 1st few corners and ended up having a great dice with Eugene which lasted a number of laps and saw places swop a few times.  I eventually made a mistake while in 2nd causing me to do a neat 360, and allowing Eugene to gain an insurmountable 5sec lead.  From there it was just a tense few laps closely monitoring the gap to a hard-charging Shawn behind me in 4th.

Race 2 I changed my strategy to try and make it without refuelling (just change tyres at pitstop), and it was actually going really well.  I was involved in a thrilling battle with Francois for a number of laps, and I was right behind him and planning to enter the pits at the end of that lap to try and pass him that way when I suddenly put a wheel wrong and spun around violently into the wall.  The car was still going but the rear was heavily damaged so I decided to limp around to the pits to try and finish the race at least and maybe salvage some points.  But as I was limping around trying my best to stay out of people's way I managed to beach the car on the tiniest of little hillocks on the side of the road, and I was so disgusted, nay the $#@%! in, with myself that I rage quit.    My version of an F1 driver's walk back to the pits with the helmet left on so people don't talk to him.

Well done to everyone for some awesome clean racing on a very challenging track.
