SUNDAY Formula Reiza Challenge

A series of 3 rounds with Formula Reiza starts on Wednesday 27 Aug.


Format:

Qualify:
25 minute unlimited laps followed by 5 minute warmup session to do race setup.

Race:
2x30 minute races WITH pit stop. Pit stop not allowed on last lap.
Standing start.

The usual league rules apply.

Please sign up on this thread and indicate your car number.

A Skin Pack will be uploaded today in the official Downloads thread for you to use

Then the other tracks we will decide on to take it up to 12 tracks:

Not sure how the guys will Feel about Montreal & Monaco.

another question, im running wit rfDYNhud, someone last week mentioned i think a plugin called GID (not sure) which is better?

Hello Hennie and welcome.

The mod is part of GSC Extreme. That is the Formula Reiza.

The track can be found under Official League Mods.

Kevin or Christo will answer you on the GID question.

Hi Christie, will have a look tonight at home, only reason i asked for mod is i noticed cars have proper F1 liveries on, and buiilt in reiza has there own liveries

The kyalami track is the 1975.
As for the GID question, it's a matter of personal choice.
Wharever works for you.

Well, I finally have something to write about !! What a first race with these cars ! I cocked up my start, and ended up at the back of the pack. However, despite this, I managed to get a good pit stop and finally end up second. My first podium in this league !! Finally !!!

Second race was a bit of disaster for me due to my mouse taking control of my in-car view...(aaaaarrrggghhhh !!!!!) but managed to scrape a sixth place anyway.......Forzaaaa Ferrari !!!

These cars are fantastic to drive !!!!

WD on your 2nd place in the first race. Keeping it clean has its rewards.

@Christo, the car you are driving is the Sauber. Did you say you are driving the Williams? My car is the Williams.

Done some practice and short race sim at Monza......first impressions:

....stay off the kerbs....and the 2nd Lesmo geometry is bit odd.....normally the 2nd Lesmo is quicker than Lesmo 1...but not the case here....traction out of 2nd Lesmo is very low....managed a 1,30.....AI doing low 25's...
