SIMTEC IS STILL RACING

Hello Everyone,

I know that the Simtec Racing Team have been quiet over the past few week, this is due to late events and bookings that are picking up. So please don't think we have forgotten about ShadowracingRSA and all the great drivers! We should be able to see you guys on track from now on but as always we do face very unpredictable timing and power cuts this side.

Been keeping a watchful eye on the forum and seems like the top 5 guys are very close to one another. We need to start recording and broadcasting these awesome races on Youtube. I think either something like live streaming events or just recording them would be epic. Any suggestions or thoughts are approached by open and welcoming ears and eyes LOL.

There are some recording options, basically it requires someone running the game and broadcasting it in replay mode with some free software like open broadcaster or something, but its possible...GPVWC do it with their races which are rFactor games so software they use should work with GSCE!

I have all sorts of software to do this, just not sure how!

If memory serves, Shadowplay can be set up to connect to a twitch account, if you want to broadcast live you'll need a beefy line though.

Then all we need is the next Murray Walker to commentate on live events

Well in that case we should definatly bring these awesome race meets on Shadowracing to some spectators. We just need to find someone who can commentate. Maybe someone like Leora?

You need a really good system to run Shadowplay. I can make videos "After the fact" but not live.
