FORMAT:

Racing will start at 8pm (GMT+2)

Race 1
Qualify = 20 minutes unlimited laps
Race = 18 Laps WITH pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.

Race 2
Qualify = 10 minutes unlimited laps.
Race = 18 Laps WITH pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.

PENALTIES:

FRANCOIS-Official warning for contact with Dirk in T3 of the first race at Sugo on lap 1.
CRAIG-Official warning for contact with Dirk in T3 of the second race at Sugo on lap 1.
Be more careful guys on the first lap.
Also, if you spin out, you MUST wait till it is safe to move the car. A number of drivers were in reverse while cars were streaming past them on track. Wait till the track is clear. Use the map for this.

in "our championship" in sgt series i see in calender that 5th race is Fuji again?

Firstly, bad luck to the drivers that had load-shedding. Nothing we can do about it but hopefully Escom wakes up sometime.
15 drivers online at one stage last night, not too bad considering.
I seem to have lost my speed the last month or so. I really don't know why but will be working on it to come back strong.
Came 8th and 9th without making any mistakes, which is way too slow for me.
Thanks to all the guys that drove and see you at Fuji.

Real shame about the power issues. I was thrown off by them and got power back on with 10 mins to go, so hopped into the game and just jumped straight to track squeezing 1 messy lap in enough for 3rd.

My races were very scruffy last night. Race 1 i was all over the place trying to get going while trying to have pace...and failed lol.

Race 2 was better, had a decent start and was able to hang in with Reinhard within a second till lap 6 when tires going off super fast suddenly caused a moment and a lost of time, and then again a lap later and then i pitted early...and got going on pace again till tires wore again. Then with about 3 laps to go i spun and damaged my rear wing. It seemed ok after a few corners so started going again...only to see Reinhard also spin a lap later.

Sorry for knocking Ryan around in race 1...totally my fault and will take the punishment, sorry again that was just bad judgement on my behalf with a little frustration still lingering from the power outage.

Excellent results for Gustav in race 1 great pace and well deserved result. Reinhard was excellent again and also well done to Eugene who was also flying!

What a race and what a track. Nothing to do with the asphalted parking lots they build nowadays

Considering the difficulty of the track I was not disappointed with my pace I must say. The races then were so eventful that i don´t remember exactly what happened hehe.
Race1 I started P8, passed a few cars, spun at the chicane and had to repass a few again. Finished P4 which was very happy with
Q2 Christo pipped me of MY p7 but with a super-start I found myself in P3 in the first lap and (surprisingly!) not losing TOO much ground from Raror in P2.
Sadly for me it was restarted, but this time I pipped Christo in quali I had again a super start but was hit at Degner, restarting last. From there on it was a series of fights, overtakes and mistakes with many opponents until the last lap. There, Shawn Johnson went wide at Spoon and I passed him, he took the slipstream on the straight but had to desist at the 130R, but I went a bit wide on exit and he outbraked me at the chicane to win a thrilling battle...

Awesome track!!

Well done to the guys on the podium for both races, especially Gustav for taking his first podium!

For some reason I was a good 2 seconds off my BP lap, last night, so I need to figure out what caused it.

Had a drive through penalty in race 1 and finished stone last

Second race was even worse with a lot of driving mistakes and generally a poor performance. I was a bit tired, but that shouldn't be an excuse!

Lessons learned:
1. Don't speed in pits!
2. Tyres will go off and braking markers should be re-evaluated in race + gearing to accommodate
3. Choose the right place to overtake if you are faster than the guy in front of you! Plan and execute.
4. Do whatever Reinhard and Denis does

All in all, an awesome experience as per usual and thanks to the Admins for hosting!

BTW: Does anyone know what the class means whenever looking at race results? Some have the same and other differ.

It´s because Reinhard is on a class of his own
