SKINS:
I have repacked them because, when the guys were unzipping them, the files changed names for some reason.
TO INSTALL: Unzip into a folder on your desktop.
1.Go to your game root folder(Where you installed the game)
2. Go to gamedata/Vehicles/F_Reiza.
3. Copy the TEAMS FOLDERS somewhere as a backup then DELETE THEM. (ONLY THE TEAM FOLDERS)
4. Now copy the folders in the skins mod you unzipped and paste them into the F_Reiza folder in the game. (Delete the others first. DO NOT OVERWRITE)
5. That's it, the skins are in.

QUALIFY START TIME: 20:00

RACE 1:
QUALIFY= 20 minutes unlimited laps.
RACE= 20 LAPS with pit stop.
RACE 2:
QUALIFY= 10 minutes unlimited laps.
RACE= 20 LAPS with pit stop.

TIRE CHOICE:

I drove some laps on COTA, what is wrong with the track?

Down as a maybe for tonight - bad lightning storm - hopefully it passes and ADSL stays up

I was worried that the weather was going to DC me. It did once just before quali.

Race 1:

Q1 P1

Start was not to bad. A bit tricky with the mediums. Went into turn 1 in first place. Took it easy the first few laps & then started push harder. I thought race 1 was gonna be 20 laps. So I had to much fuel for the race. 70L I kept my pace up during the race. Pit stop went smooth, no issues. Had a bit of a glitch during the race where the game froze for about 2-3 seconds. But no DC even with the weather.

Race 2:
Q2 P2

Had a good start compared to Denis. But went into turn 1 to hot & lost the back end. Had to wait for the field to pass before I could re-join the track. So the pressure was on. Was very careful passing the slower guys not to get tangled up with them. I knew that being in the back would cause me to have some very slow laps. After getting pass most of the guys at the back I could then start to push hard to try get to the front. Moving up the field it took longer to pass some of the guys as they were getting faster. I had good race pace & knew I just had to be consistent & not do anything drastic. Had some good dices with Eugene & Christo at the top. Francois backed of to let me pass in the main straight. Tx buddy. So ending only 10 seconds behind Denis was not such a bad result for the first turn spin.

WD to all the guys. Denice you had some good pace on Monza.

Monza has never been my favourite track and it showed in my slow lap times. At least I saw that there was a biggish gap between me and the guys behind, so I was not too worried.
In race 1 I spun around and had to wait for most cars to pass before I could get onto the track. At least I recovered and finished in 5th place. WD to Gert and Denis you were much too fast. Excellent 3rd place from Shawn !!!
I was more consistent in race 2 and had an uneventful race to finish in 4th place behind Eugene.
WD to everyone who took part, great racing.
Now a full week of testing for Saturday night's endurance.

ps. Sorry Chad for touching you going into Ascari in race 1, wd with your 6th place just behind me.

All in all, a good nights racing for me.
Qualified near the back and thought I was really going to struggle.
R1
At the lights, I got a really good pull-away and jumped 4 positions by the time we reached the first chicane. Kept up with the guys in front for a long stint. When it came to pitting, my button didn't work and the pit stop took nearly 20 seconds. Still managed 7th, so happy with that, considering the class field in front of me.
R2
Another good start but the midfield pace was much faster this race. Pits again took 18 seconds and squeezed in at 9th.
