Just want to make sure for myself and everyone else, this means that the P1s are responsible for overtaking the GTEs, and GTEs don't have to specially move out of the way while going through a corner?

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
That's correct. If you stay on the racing line, the P1 won't have any sudden moves by you and will overtake as fast as it is safe to do so.
On a long straight, if you have a lot of time, you can move over and flick your lights to show him to go past.
The main thing is NO SUDDEN MOVES.

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
Race ended early, so here I am... typing my race report.
Qualifying was pretty good, didn't really set out to practice neither my qualifying or race runs because I was busy installing GID haha. I could have set better laps I guess, I was using soft tyres, unaware that there was supersofts. But, it would be hard to know if I could have beaten KyuKyu to GTE pole since his time was really great.
Race start was pretty awkward (as for most of you?), the GID race start lights didn't work as I expected and I looked around frantically for the lights on track. Green it was and off I went, sure was a pretty good start from the field, at least from where I was. A few P1 cars dropped down and GTE cars were in the mix, but generally everyone stayed cautious and avoided taking the other classes out.
KyuKyu was a few seconds ahead by the time I reached the back straight, with Shawn Johnson reeling me in really quick. Despite a (weak) slipstream from the P1 car ahead, he overtook me and chased after the GTE leader.
A few laps later, KyuKyu got involved in a collision with a P1 car (no idea whose fault it was) and I managed to dodge the cars ( ) and went up into P2 in my class. Johnson in the Aston Martin went flying through the first corner, but ran wide during the second corner and had to slow down, allowing me to take the lead.
Pace was pretty good for me from then on, but no doubt KyuKyu was launching an attack on me. For a few laps, I messed around with strategic options through the game menu, planning to pit on lap 14 for both fuel and tyres to go to the end of the race.
Alas, it all ended when I got distracted by my surroundings on lap 14, going straight past the pit entry, with 0.2 laps of fuel left. Short-shift, lift and coast, no fuel-saving method could ever bring me back into the pits. I accepted my fate and parked my car on the back straight.
A pity that I couldn't at least try to defend the lead from KyuKyu. Was nice being back for race, mod has been great, loved the new Porsche 991 and the track isn't bad at all as well!
Thank you all for the experience.

What a race,
Qualified 1st in P2 class.
Race - Had a good start managed to keep the P2 on the track and maintained a good race pace.Pit stop i had to add a extra 3Litres of fuel.During the race i had to slow down to let the P1 guys pass because of the Blue Flag rules.i managed to finish the Race in 1st place in the P2 class .Well done to everyone that finished and Kevin for hosting looking forward to the next endurance race

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
Thank you to the drivers that took part.
Pity we only had 15. With the length of track, I found the race to be a bit boring with so few drivers.
That being said, was still great to go flat out with these cars.
Well done to Denis for overall win in a P1 car.
Francois for the win in P2.
Kyukyu for the win in GTE.
Good driving guys.
My race was uneventful to say the least. Just kept going at the same pace and finished 3rd in P2 class.
My game stuttered during the whole race, making it no fun to drive. Think it was my internet connection.
Thanks again and see you all at SPA

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
Very interesting race, and a lot of fun! Lapping the guys started around lap 7...so from then on the race took a different style of trying to be quick while trying not to loose time in traffic.
I must say it is quite fun with the different classes, it brings a new challenge to maintain a good pace. Only complaint i could have..is it would of been nicer to have more cars out there specially more GTe cars and more P2 cars.
Overall though a good experience and kind of like the track now. Eugene had great pace in the final laps...but by then i was in cruise home mode with a nice big gap so no big problems but if Eugene had qualified it might of been a much more exciting fight. Well done to all the guys and well done to Francois and Kyukyu for winning their P2 and GTE classes. Well done to Eugene and Christo to get the other P1 podiums, Eugene from stone last and Christo with a spin and a few extra pitstops thanks to his pit crew deciding he did not deserve fuel!!!
These endurance events are getting better and better, these cars are excellent to drive too. Thanks again Shadow Racing for hosting this excellent event!

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
Mixed feelings for me. This mod is just great I think, at least the GTEs that I tested felt very natural and very varied in their behavior, and reacted to setup changes in a realistic way. Sadly, as Mitchell said, there were just too few drivers in GTE class, which meant that, after Haribo forgot his fuel and the Johnson Brothers retired for some reason, I basically drove alone.
Qualifying was good (thanks Haribo for pointing out the existance of supersofts, next time I'll use them too ). At the start I had terrible stuttering too (maybe the lights?) but kept position until I was hit midway through lap2. I recovered and tried to catch Haribo but ruined my tires too much. The game just kept calling me in to the pits (?). I went for a 2-stopper and forgot to deactivate damage repair, so my race was actually a disaster I won for lack of opposition basically...
Next time I would like to stick to GTEs but if everybody chooses the prototypes I might change my mind. Maybe we should limit the slots to 33% for each class? Just a thought. As Mitchell said, multi-class is a great experience, but if everybody chooses the same class it's not multi-class any more
Other thoughts: 90 minute race? Time accelaration to simulate 24h?

I might make an exception & race on SPAAAAAAA in the next event.
As what KK said maybe do an even spread of the cars so that all the classes are spread evenly.

Hahaha, should have kept the secret to myself!! No chance of getting pole in Spa then!
I support time acceleration too, would love to have a full cycle of day and night. But perhaps it would be good to at least allow the field to get used to having multi-classes (i.e. overtaking/giving way) before heading for the darkness...
This endurance series is just great, on a Sunday for me and I get to drive the latest Porsche GT car! Looking forward to the next race.

I am also looking forward to the next event. I just did not have enough time to prepare for the last event - all the tracks are new to me and I need to learn from scratch and it takes time. The Toyota P1 is my favourite car in GSC at the moment and I can't wait to drive it at SPA...

Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
I have to say, been doing testing for a new track soon to be released, and been driving the Corvette...its such a blast might change to GTE, since there were not enough of them last endurance event...if thats ok.
Re: ENDURO PAUL RICARD 31st JAN 2015
This is great news. Although I fear neither Porsche nor Ferrari will win then
