We will run a Challenge Race with the SGT500 cars at Bathurst  on Tuesday 23rd Dec.

2x12 lap races with pit stop.
Usual league rules apply and just have fun guys.

Super Track - Super Cars - Super Racing - Super racers.
What more can one say, was epic races at Bathurst over Mount Panorama.

Qualified 2nd for both races. I lost 4 places on 1st lap due to poor start. I was too afraid that my car would overheat so I enlarge my radiator opening. Doing this caused me to loose a lot of time lap after lap. I managed to work my way up to 2nd behind Denis but by then he was nearly 30 seconds in the lead.
Contrary to the first race, I had an excellent start and was side by side with Denis through the first corner. I stayed ahead of him until I pitted on lap 7. This time I had pace as I made my radiator opening smaller. I kept the lead to the end to finish in 1st place.
WD to Denis for great driving, to Gert, Kevin with excellent results and everyone else that took part. Great clean driving by all.
We can do this track again - ANYTIME.

Merry Christmas to each and everyone, your family and friends. Take the time off racing to spoil them too, just maybe there is a new racing wheel or rig wrapped in Christmas paper with your name on it ........ you wish !!!

Really good racing from all the drivers.
Good to see some "old" as well as new drivers on track.
When the season starts on the 7th Jan, I think we in for a super season and really good grids for each race.
Had 2 really good races, making a small mistake in the first putting me in 6th place by the end. The second race went really well and drove in 4th place from start to finish.

Bathurst was fun last night.

2 3rd places With Denis & Christo to fast for me. WD to them.

WD to all the drivers that competed last night. Was a nice grid.

That is an awesome track and th SGT's are fantastic cars to drive.

I qualified in P4 but misread the warmup duration and missed the start (d'oh).
By the time I had come back for the second race I missed qualifiers so started from the back.
It did give the me the opportunity to overtake and make my way half way up the pack, so I had fun in any event.

If there are going to be more SGT events I am definitely up for it.

We are running a FULL season with them (10 Rounds) starting on 7th Jan.

SOUND GREAT!! i just need a calender for the 10 rounds so that i can set it up with our loyal regulars so that we can race all of the races from this side too. Run a endurance league or something along those lines.

I really enjoyed last nights racing, the track was technical enough to be fun and the Super GT cars handled very nicely unlike the wooden V8's.
A nice big turnout and clean racing, thanks guys.
I managed to under fuel the car in the second race by about 2 litres so had to stop a lap early to get lapped.

That was one fantastic race meeting.

To be honest im not fond of Bathurst as it always ends in bad online races...well, i think my opinion has changed now! What a fantastic event, such close racing and yet so few accidents. Thank you also to all the cars i lapped, they all made a great effort to watch their mirrors. Well done to all the new guys too..but most of all well done to Christo on that excellent race 2 win..top driving there on the start and to defend all the way till the pit stop. These cars seem to always produce great races. Well done to all who attended last night, and also well done to Gert, Dirk and Christo on their podiums.

Numbers are growing which is excellent...next season we going to have a blast with such great drivers in our field!

Lastly, have a fantastic safe Christmas guys, and Christie hope you get better buddy and start the new year feeling top of the pops lol.
