We will be running a series of 4 rounds over December on Sunday evenings with the Formula Nippon cars. They are a bit slower than the F1 we are used to but drive very well and should be great fun for the holidays.

It will be a cup event to keep things interesting.

Format:

20 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race 1:........? LAPS WITH pit stop

10 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race2:........? LAPS With pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.


POINTS:

1 point for pole position in both races.

1st.....17
2nd.....14
3rd.....11
4th.....8
5th.....6
6th.....4
7th.....2
8th.....1

The race will have a standing start

The usual league rules apply.
Keep it clean and have fun guys. Don't forget to welcome any new drivers.

Maybe we will have big field for this event like Kyalami.

That sounds great.

We did a few laps last night on the track.
The cars go VERY well here and the racing is going to be super tight again.
Lots of corners, so I suggest you get some practice in before the weekend.

It would appear Liveracers is not working. The server runs fine and I have emailed Liveracers for some answers.
The server will remain on Road America until Friday afternoon.

Just Extract RAR archive into your GSC Extreme's game folder (example: "C:\Games\GSC2013")

I have noticed that some of the sounds were missing from the Formula Nippon's, like certain road noises, curbs etc... Luckily I've made a "non-crucial" fix for this, so please add it to your "Formula Nippons" if you would like to have all the missing sounds!

A new Road America track has been released, however, we will use the current one for this race as all the drivers have been practicing on it.

What a great nights racing...loved the track and car combo!
Race 2 was one of the closest ends we have had so far...what a race, well done Christo great victory there!

Well done to all other podium finishes, Christo, Eugene, Gert and a excellent podium for Dirk well done there!

Good field once again. Thank you to all drivers.
Getting a new wheel 2 hours before the race, I thought I would battle, however, it felt good and my times were just as quick as in practice or even a bit faster.
After starting in 8th place, I managed to climb to 5th which was good considering the strong field.
Race 2 I made a rookie mistake and touched the wall losing a wheel on lap 10 I think.
All in all, a great evening and well done to all of you. Great finish in the 2nd race. It was very very close.

WD to all the guys that competed.

Denis just had to much pace for me last night in the first race. Second race I got tagged on my right rear. Car was damaged so did not want to struggle with the car & had to stop.

Good race in the second race. Was watching the guys till close to the end & then followed the last few laps on liveracers.

WD guys. Some sweaty palms in race 2.

Once again the Nippons provided exiting close racing. I love this track and my qualifying times was proof of that. Race 1 was not so nice with a poor start and then having to battle to get to the front again. When a car in front of me going a bit sideways I hit the wall too hard to continue as I tried to avoid the sliding car.
Race 2 saw me in 2nd on the grid again. This time I made a good start and took the lead which I kept till just after my pit stop. Razor then passed me as I was still on cold tyres but I passed him a lap later. Then it was watching my mirrors right to the end staying just again of Denis. Sure enough he had me sweaty, this was such an intense battle. WD to all who raced, the field is growing and everyone is driving with respect and maturity.
