We will be running a series of 4 rounds over December on Sunday evenings with the Formula Nippon cars. They are a bit slower than the F1 we are used to but drive very well and should be great fun for the holidays.

It will be a cup event to keep things interesting.

Format:

20 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race 1:........28 LAPS WITH pit stop

10 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race2:........28 LAPS With pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.


POINTS:

1 point for pole position in both races.

1st.....17
2nd.....14
3rd.....11
4th.....8
5th.....6
6th.....4
7th.....2
8th.....1

The race will have a standing start

The usual league rules apply.
Keep it clean and have fun guys. Don't forget to welcome any new drivers.

Hopefully I have enough cap to complete this race.

Great racing last night and with a good field of cars, the racing was very close.
Nice to see the new drivers on track and well done to all of you.
Managed 6th in both races with no real problems during the racing except not being able to find some real punch from the car in the gear department. I had a great evening and thank you all once again

What more could I asked for than another win during the weekend in the second race of the Nippons, after my win at Sebring Endurance on Saturday night.
I could not get perfect qualifying times but my race pace in both races was good enough to keep up with the front runners. Me and Eugene was in a battle from the pit stop right to the end, him in front and me following each and every move. I made sure to be on his tail when we went through the last corner of the last lap, so I pulled out his slip steam to only finish 0,034 seconds behind him. Was the line 5 meters further down the track ............
Another good start and another good pit strategy helped me to be right up front with the guys in the second race. After a hard fight and huge concentration I finally cross the finish line in 1st place.
It was awesome to see so many drivers on track, all enjoying themselves and well behaved. This is what online racing must be like.
Great stuff everyone, you did well. Thanks to Kevin and Christie for hosting a super event.

It's really wonderful to race amongst the caliber of driver, we have at Shadow Racing. There is the odd occasion where things get a little tight and even crossed-up... but hell, that's racing.
From my side, I would like to thank every individual who took part in making the racing super fun and sporting.
Personally, I really have to figure out why I keep having issues with my game at every race... it's a wonder I can score any points at all. Having to make my way from the back of the field all the way to 1st place is really enjoyable and exciting, but having to do it now at almost every outing is becoming a little tedious, never mind questionable.
Although I've managed to do just that, race 1 saw me get disconnected as I crossed the finish line..... miracles do happen for those who doubt....   and race 2, on lap 23, with a 35sec lead, my brilliant pc decides to freeze on me for about a minute. When the game decided to wake up again, I was 18sec behind Kevin in 7th place.
Courtesy of Gert making a double bogey for the night, I managed a solitary 6th in the end. Could be worse...

P.S. I would implore every single racer to get onto mumble during an event. You guys really don't know what you miss out on...
especially the cracks about a chicken crossing the road.

2 races 2 stupid mikstakes. Had a good dice with Denis in race 1 until I overcooked it coming out of the 1 turn & spun & damaged the car.  Race 2 I got the jump on Denis again at the start, but I might have gone a bit wide into turn 1 that pushed him a bit wide of the track. sorry Denis. & Sorry to Kuiken that I also did not see get pushed wide. did not see you. Did not look in my mirrors. Well that did not matter cause I out braked myself badly & smashed the car from P1. Dammit.I ran a heavy car in the first stint, so my pit stop was short as I did not have to put in that much fuel.  O wel that how it goes.

Nice job to all that raced. Nice big field.

What a great meeting last night and a excellent turn out, when i was expecting guys to all be away on leave! Nice to see the guys showing up...and some new faces too...welcoem guys!

Gert, excellent battle in race 1, that was some pressure you gave me...if you never fell victim i might of lol. Race 2, one of those things, we were hot into turn 1, i was wide you followed but not as wide and a little contact, it happens no worries. I still had a great enjoyable race, even had my first ever puncture...interesting lol. This forced a early stop for me which kind of stumped my pace a bit...so i had to fight hard for a podium.

All in all another stellar event, really enjoy the close racing and the clean racing. The guy, all the guys seem to really respect the other drivers which is such a pleasure to see, we all make odd mistakes though but the drivers attitudes stands out as a very strong point here at ShadowRacing!

Im thoroughly enjoying it here and i am not going anywhere!!!

Real shame some guys had issues though, like Migs and Gert...but was some super close fights and battles...thats what makes it for me, those close battles!
