Noobie question - what assists are allowed or are they server assigned ?
I seem to have run the last race with all assists off

Low stability and traction.
When on track, press F4 and F8

I been running low traction with abs and stability off...seems to work for me. Will see if stability helps at all!

Chad I don't use any assist, It really helps if you practice with no assist on. It give you a better feel what the car can do. It will also help you improve to go even faster.

Welcome Dino, glad to finally have you with us! You in for a blast tonight and the rest of the season!
Re: FREIZA SEASON 2 ROUND 3 BRANDS HATCH 30 NOV
Will tonights races be live on youtube at all? If so that will be amazing firstly, but also is there a link to share then?
Re: FREIZA SEASON 2 ROUND 3 BRANDS HATCH 30 NOV
Well done to Gert, great races there! I had a pretty bad race 1, race 2 was better but could not get my rhythm here tonight! Will have to get more practice for the next one!
Quali for both races was not very good, just got it all wrong haha!
Very punishing track this but great when you get it right, sadly i got race 1 very wrong, and ran out of fuel lol! Race 2 was a bit better but too many mistakes and clipping grass!
Big thanks to Kevin for this event, loving these cars! Hope the next track suits these cars a little better though!

Re: FREIZA SEASON 2 ROUND 3 BRANDS HATCH 30 NOV
So this was the final Reiza race for the year. This track always gives you a false sense of security. It is even more unforgiving then Singapore. I did plenty of practice on the track. Getting of the starting line is a problem on this track as it is at a slope & as soon as you drop it the back end steps out. So for the first time I used an assist to get of the line. I put on low TC to help get of the line. As soon as I was going I switched it of. Paid of. I hope the update has LC enabled.
Race 1:
Q1 P1
I noticed that my last run in quali that I posted 1:00.7 does not show on liveracers at all. Could be because of the being on 0 seconds by then. Using TC to help with the start makes it a bit sluggish. I knew what pace I could do in the race but also new that it could also cause me to make more mistakes. Very little margin for error on the track. Even though I stil made some small errors that cost me time. Did not panic & just drove my race. I drove at about a second a lap slower as to limit mistakes. After I settled into the race I just kept it on the grey stuff to the end. SORRY to de Wet for the bump in quali.
Race 2:
Q1 P1
Sorry to Francois for messing your 1 quali lap. Again used TC to help get of the line & switched it off before turn 1. So after the few restarts we got going. Went wide early on in the race & lost some time that allowed Denis & Christo to get past me. I then just settled into the race at my own pace & chased them down. Took about 2 laps to catch up to Christo who let me pass him easily. ( TX Christo ) Took a few more laps to catch up to Denis. He got out of turn 4 slowly that allowed me to pull a pass on him in the back straight. Denis then kept me in check by trying to pass my back a few times in the remaining laps till the pit stop. I did 1 extra lap & found that he was way behind me after the stops. He missed his pits that cost him time. I then just settled into my race to get to the end & not make mistakes. Denis was pushing hard to catch up to me. I watched as the gap got smaller but he then made another mistake. Next time Denis. I had a look at liveracers this morning & it showed race 2 that we all had a DNF after 19 laps. Maybe just a bug
Tx to all the guys that raced last night, tx for joining.

Re: FREIZA SEASON 2 ROUND 3 BRANDS HATCH 30 NOV
Our final race... my final catastrophe.
If taking into account, the previous nights racing at Spa with smooth internet and exciting racing atmosphere... to a dreadful Brands Hatch where other cars were going through my car, bobbing and weaving, disappearing and reappearing 5 corners later... it really was a wonder there weren't more casualties around me.
I would like to apologize to anyone who suffered because of my consequence and I also now will state that if I have another race under the same conditions, I will retire and let you guys drive in peace. There is nothing more frustrating than wanting to drive on a pro level only to be looked at like an idiot on track.
Most of you saw me parked on track or in a wall or flying through a grassy patch... unfortunately, I would only realize I was off only after the damage had been done. It was like trying to drive a fly.
Kevin, I'm sorry I ended your race in R2... my lag only caught up after you had crashed into me and I had no time to ESC. The advice you gave me helped a little, but the minute there were other cars in my vicinity, it was like trying to drive with inverse pedals and steering.
I phoned my ISP this morning to complain, but they told me everything was fine on my side and that they couldn't see any problems on the line with reference to my connection last night. They did mention that cause of the load-shedding, there could've have been some interference with pings, but even that was unlikely... so I'm left in the dark and honestly, I don't take any pleasure from not being able to compete equally with the field
Anyhow, you guys are a real pleasure to hang with and I would like to congratulate all the finishers and top drivers for the night. A special grats to Peter and Francois for improving so much last night. You guys deserve it

No.
I will decide the next track in a week or so. Waiting for some tracks to be completed to see if we can get some good ones. Next race is 5 weeks away, no rush.

Hennie,
I've got my game set that only my detail is high, the rest is all medium to off... no shadows, no blurs, opponents detail is low etc etc
"Frustration" is a very small word in comparison.
