We will be driving the 2014 DTM Mod at ZANDVOORT
Racing will start at 8:00pm SA

20 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race 1:........20 LAPS WITH pit stop

10 minute unlimited lap Qualify
Race2:........20 LAPS With pit stop. At least 4 tires must be changed.


POINTS:

1 point for pole position in both races.

The race will have a standing start

The usual league rules apply.

This must be my favourite track together with SPA. Just a pleasure to drive.

This is also the best version out there.

Kevin if Possible could you always just add the date for a race. Still bing new at this sometimes we miss days.

Were we really so slow last time?

Last place for me. Could not get the setup any better due to a lack of experience. It was nice just to race though !!

Was nice to have been back here although it seems I am off the pace with my Audi. Could not get a setup to take me through the corners without big slides!!!
In race 1 I was on Kyukyu's back most of the time and managed to pass him through the pit stop and him making a mistake I think. Eugene got a drive through penalty which moved me into P2. On the last lap Migs put his car into a wall giving me a unexpected win. Thank you Migs!!!
Throughout race 2 I was floating in 4th place and remained there until the end.
Well, one last outing in 2 weeks time with these cars, then onto a different season starting in the new year.
Join us next Wednesday to test the new Super GT 500 cars.

Oh, you are so welcome Christo...

I can't believe I lost concentration for just a blink of an eye... enough to miss my brake marker and send me scuttling into the wall at the 1st esses.... oh, and that on the very last lap with over 8 sec lead. MINHA CULPA

My HUD lap counter wasn't working, hence my distraction in looking at my fuel gauge for reference to what lap I was on, and therefore eventual tragedy. With my broken car, I managed to soldier on until the last corner where Christo caught me, believing that I still had another lap to go... only to realize that I could've fought Christo off till the line. Regardless, Christo... you are welcome for my GIFT

2nd race went well, started 4th, had a wonderful dice with KK and Christo breathing down my back. Managed to get up the inside of KK and make the pass stick. Now that was awesome racing between 2 cars on a track that didn't really warrant space for both on those particular sections, but solid discipline and common courtesy saw an incident free dice... which is how it's supposed to be. Well done KK and you've earned my respect for you as a racer.

I must also mention that I was immensely impressed with Razor's drive in the 1st race. He kept his composure even though he was much quicker than me and for that, he can put a feather in his cap. Well done to him also... Unfortunately, he was caught with a drive through penalty which otherwise would have given him a win in race 1.

Overall, a very decent event and looking forward to the next one... Congrats Everyone. It's a pleasure to be here.

Migs

Happy birthday to Christo for R1
I just love driving on this track and it seems I was a bit more competitive with our top guns here
Q1 I managed P2, but then on the "superpole" only P4. I settled in P3 during the race because Migs and Razor were too fast and I got increasing understeer as the tyres went off. At least I was keeping Christo a couple of seconds behind me, but outbraked myself at T1 and he passed by. At the pit I decided to decrease the RW angle, which improved my handling but cost me 10s at the stop... Razor's problem handed me P3 in the end.
Before Q2 I changed the setup and managed a very good 1.29.6, only to see Razor's 1.29.3
Razor was just too fast in the race, but I had a great battle with Migs and Christo. In the first laps I was sliding too much and Migs managed to pass with a great move on the outside of the last chicane, after I had managed to fence him off the laps before. Then I had to keep Christo at bay (a tradition here) before he lost some ground just before the pit stop. In the second half of the race I closed again on Migs to about 1 sec, then slowly moved to 2, 2.5, but managed to keep concentration and pressure high. Very happy with my race.
As Migs said, the battles were very correct and enjoyable. I think we have all improved in the last year and it's just great to know that you can trust the others
