Hello fellow sim racers
Hello fellow sim racers and some real world racers!
Im Denis, from Cape Town and a ex real world superbike racer. Currently racing in a Assetto League on SimRaceSA. Just started toying more seriously with GSCE, while Assetto Corsa is great in ease of use i find GSCE more realistic in physics, just a little trickier to tweak the game screens and wheel and so on but very good. So im hoping to be part of some good clean fair racing action!
Thanks Kevin for providing us with this league, looks stunning so far!

Welcome Denis. Surely you will enjoy the racing with us. I also have AC but, although some cars and tracks look awesome, I do not like their handling. The setup screens are too many individual screens to work through. GSCE is so much better and we have fantastic mods. We use GID for our info screen displays and it is so much better than what we had in GTR2. You can download it from the forum and Kevin is a master to explain how to tweak it.

Re: Hello fellow sim racers
Thanks guys...looking forward to racing!
Just tried out the DTM mod last night, WOW what a fantastic car to drive! What do you guys set your wheel rotation to in windows and in game?
Mine is on 900 i both and in DTM with 23 degrees steering lock its drivable but not quit right haha! Do you vary it in windows or game per car? Also are any of you running triple screens? I am and it has no bezel compensation...wondering if there is a way around this without having to change my windows res!

Re: Hello fellow sim racers
Denis - it depends on your wheel & what you like as a setting.
You need to play around until you find a setting you like. on 900 you most likely have a G27. I drive with a MOMO. But in game my setting is around 26 for the Reiza cars. DTM that I don't drive anymore I drive around with 21--22

Re: Hello fellow sim racers
Big welcome Denis. I'm sure you will enjoy the world of Shadowracing as much as we do!
Re: Hello fellow sim racers
Thanks for the help, and the welcomes!
Yes i have a G27 right now, have changed to 540 degrees and its better, will keep toying with it. Think i need even less degrees for single seaters but at 540 the mini felt great haha!
Want to get the DTM nice, and the Formula Reiza and Formula 3 then im all happy!

Re: Hello fellow sim racers
I also got a G27 wheel and I set it on 340 in the profiler and between 18 and 26 in game dependant of the car mod....

Re: Hello fellow sim racers
Thanks Christo.
Iv settled on 320 for now, and similar lock in various cars and seems pretty decent now! Starting to get a feel for the game and enjoying it more and more. Certainly one of the best sims around, beats the socks off iRacing any day. Looking forward to the touring cars mods too those should be a blast to drive.
