Race Results Sunday 5th October 2014

Hello guys

First of all I'd just like to thank you once again for the warm welcome received. I hope to bring further success to the ShadowRacing online team and members alike. Who knows how high the rev count will go?

But first, let's start with some results from the Sunday Formula Reiza challenge (that's yesterday Sunday, not 3 weeks back for those of us who may be floating around in different time zones)

Race 1:

5th place - Rudolph
4th place - Hennie
3rd place - Gert
2nd place - Kyukyu (CLOSE! But no cigar)
aaaaaand first place goes to: CHRISTO (and the crowd goes wild)  

During the first race Kevin hit an oil slick, or skidded on a banana peel (excuses excuses) which sent him hurtling into oblivion, crashing his car in the midst of his 6th lap, and taking out a few others with it...eeeek.
Kevin has realised his manic driving was bordering "insane" and will refrain from acting like a pellet any longer.
Nice to see Rudolph back in the seat for this race.

Race 2:

5th place - Rudolph
4th place - Kevin
3rd place - Hennie
2nd place - Christo (so close)
aaand the winner was.... Gert Snyman!  

Christo seems to be a passionate and persistent driver. Here's to hoping the next race in Singapore will shine his helmet ever-brighter.

A good 12 drivers showed for the race, but we could always use more, so I encourage you to encourage your friends, drinking buddies, father-in-laws and 2nd cousins twice removed, to join.

Hi LeeBee, I believe you do not have a Windows PC to install Game Stock Car, but that you have an Apple machine!?!
Here is how you can install VirtualBox on your Mac which will allow you to install Windows 7 and then Game Stock Car on it. That is if you want to, entirely up to you.

There are many websites offering help to do this and it is an easy process. Listed below are 2 sites explaining how this is done.

Now the only missing component is to install Game Stock Car and off you go, remember to take it slow on the first lap as your tyres are cold and you got a lot of fuel in your tank.
