WELCOME TO THE GT CHALLENGE




The GT Challenge kicks off at Killarney on 2nd of October.

FORMAT:

QUALIFY= 20 minutes unlimited laps

RACE 1 =  30 minutes with pit stop

QUALIFY FOR RACE 2 = 10 minutes unlimited laps

RACE 2 = 30 minutes with pit stop

PIT STOP IS NOT ALLOWED ON LAST LAP.

The series will consist of 8 rounds and the most improved driver as voted by all the other drivers will win a copy of TRACKMANIA.

We are hoping that this series is popular. We have asked all the drivers and a lot of you seem to enjoy driving them.

keen to drive tonight, after my cycle ill try and attend as i did with the DTM.

not sure what car to take any suggestion of what i will look good in?

Hey guys sorry for not being around, I have been very busy with work, haven't had time to fire up my rig, I am gonna join tonight with no practice and no knowledge of the track, Ill try to do my best.

Can I chose any car for this race?

Yes, any car.

Not many drivers tonight but the racing was good.

Enjoyed Killarney as usual feels like the GT1's are made for Killarney happy with 4th in second race

Real sorry i couldn't make it.

Got home, got some fish out the fridge to bang a super quick, and BOOM no power, woke up this morning at 06:30 and still no power

So ye looks like a long kak weekend for me.

I could not attend race one due to circumstances, was going well in race 2, spunned out and car started burning.

Somehow my race report I posted last night did not save...
So the first leg of the GT series at Killarney has come and gone. I looked forward to racing the GT cars at Killarney as it is my favourite track and I am always fast there no matter in which car. My expectations were to go for pole position and won the races. I soon took my Audi R8 to lap consistently in 1:08:xx.
New member Kreshnik closed in on my time and a lot of guys all doing 1:09:xx.
I took the lead from pole in both races and remained there till the end with no real challenge. Well done to Kreshnik who learned the track fast and all the others who did rather well. Yes, the pit entry is on the left for those who were looking for it even after Kevin pointed it out in the chat box.

This was a fun race for me even if my phone didn't stop ringing on the first race, I kept making mistakes and for some reason I kept on braking 2 late on the third corner. I am happy overall since it was first time for me on this track and I didn't get a lot time prior to the race to practice.
